Made my own 5.0 Badge
Sponsored
From what I understand, the Coyote motor was originally 302 ci, so technically not 5.0L. Some people like to be pedantic about that (302 = 4.95L)Thought I read it was really 5.1 or something and they keep calling it 5.0 for old times sake…
Looks great! Thanks for sharingAdd me to the no badge list. I prefer less. It makes more of a statement in my opinion.![]()

Thanks for the info. We can move on from engine badges. It’s a what have you done with your 5.0 thread.Chevy doesn’t have engine badges, TRX has no engine badge, Raptor has not had an engine badge since the 6.2L, and had no EcoBoost badge. The only engine badges in the the Raptor are the new “5.2L Supercharged V8” decal. Also, the EcoBoost engines do not have an engine badge “EcoBoost” designates turbocharging. It gives you no info about what engine is under the hood. You are reading too far into it imo. There is no “3.5 EcoBoost” badge. The only badge on the trucks that actually displays the motor is the R’s “Supercharged V8” decal.![]()
Nice truck and garage.Add me to the no badge list. I prefer less. It makes more of a statement in my opinion.![]()

The intent was supposed to be all things 5.0. We’ve beat badges to death. Back to 5.0!![]()
Winter badging.
OK, is this a thread about badges, or how fu*kin awesome these engines are?
Cause the latter would be much more fun.
Hair dryers are for girls.
How do you clean your engine bay?I’ve always cleaned the engine bay every 2 weeks or so since new whenever I do the interior etc.
Also curious about this. How do you clean your engine bay?
My son put a similar badge on the tailgate of his 2017 F150 5.0. I think they look cool.I'm not sure if this is the look or not, but It seemed to fit. Might remove it, not sure.
