I noticed my Auto Start/Stop isn't working. I checked DTCs and came up with the following codes.

I've made some changes to ForScan and I followed the guide or used the easy method.

Suggestions where to start looking?

Thank you in advance.

Did you have a MIL or just decide to check codes?

Did you try and clear them and see if it works?

Auto Start/Stop hasn't worked in a week or so.

Did you clear them and see if they came back? Changing asbuilt values and resetting modules will trigger a DTC. Anytime I make changes I run a dtc scan and clear them. I would do that before digging too far into it.

I'll see what happens tomorrow and connect ForScan when I get home from the gym and check.

I cleared the DTCs. I changed the SOC to 90. I charged the battery on a charger that can overcome the draw when sleeping etc.

Auto Start Stop worked at the first stop light and all of the way to work.

Do you ever get the "Turning truck off to conserve battery" message? I'd bet you have a battery that's bad/going bad and it'll need to be replaced.

Those codes point to your battery to me, which would also cause auto stop/start not to work. What does forscan report as your battery charge %? The power steering is electric and turning it full lock may draw any float voltage down that the battery had

I'll have to check this evening. Where on FS would I find that?

Connected ForScan. The only DTC was the camera.

Auto Start Stop worked on my way home. Wasn't near as "peppy" shutting off and turning back on as it was this morning fresh off the charger.

I connected two different chargers to see what the % was at. One showed 50%, the other showed 60%.

I learned this... If you do not have your seat belt on, ASS won't work. As soon as I put it on, the truck shut off. The moment I unhooked it, it turned back on.

My buddy has an automotive shop. I'm going to test the battery with his tester.

The only issue I have with modern fords, and by extension quite a few others, is the fact that the logic behind the BMS was programmed by someone who can't do basic math. Voltage should NEVER dip below high float. We had decades and decades of satisfactory battery life on inferior cell technology with the alternator happily humming along at ~14.4v. Every 4-5 years or so we get a new one and life was good. Now they want to try and hold an artificial limit and significantly reduce system voltage only to not charge the batt for shit. Causing all sorts of issues due to insufficient voltage because the system is trying to look at its perceived SOC instead of voltage while sub systems in the truck go stupid.

i raised my SOC to 95% in forscan...it helped a bit
as in now i can open and close doors about 5 times before it gets the sleep message.

it got down to 27% the other day playing with flat tow mode, took over 9hrs to recharge with battery charger
i keep hoping a smart person here figures out a way to boost the charge voltage up like you say. it worked before.
i had same problem in the 21 f250 6.7 engine..
