4/4/22 Build Week Group

I've been anxiously waiting to join one of these threads.

PB Plat, 701A, Carbonized Gray, Work Surface, Adaptive Steering (added later), Tow package.

Hopefully the dates hold out...

Why did you add adaptive steering later? I've seen some posts suggesting that having AS might help get the truck sooner. Also, what was the process like to have it added to your build?

I tried to add AS a couple of times but the dealer kept trying to dissuade me, then low and behold, I was scheduled without it.

Looks like every KC order got pushed back a week, I was 3/28 and got pushed back to 4/4 which is supposed to be the last week of job 1 builds.

Yes--it was included with my order without me asking for it. Also, I have test driven a couple of Powerboost trucks with that option listed on the window sticker, and can confirm that the hybrid function of automatically turning on and off the ICE still works. As far as I can tell, it just doesn't necessarily turn the truck off while waiting at a stoplight.

I know it's confusing to even mention stop/start removal on a Powerboost, but a Powerboost can't even have the start/stop component that is listed as "removed" on the Window Sticker /Order. Only pur ICE trucks can have the auto start/stop that is listed as removed on the Powerboost.

And yes, the Powerboost stops the ICE at a stoplight. Actually it stops the ICE long before you get to the stoplight. Very much like a Hybrid would. (note: in Sport Mode and Tow Haul it delays stopping the ICE until a complete stop and a firm press on the brake)

Auto Start-Stop Removal - I asked dealer to add this when I ordered but they did not.
Today I noticed ford added it.

Moving to the 3/28 build week. Makes no sense but I plan on it sitting in a storage lot for at least 2 weeks and hopefully 0 hail storms.

Well after placing my MY21 order 07/21 then converting to a MY22 in 10/21 I finally got the email! Had to call my dealer this morning just to confirm it was real.

Not even sure why we have these trackers but hey, looks like a fun exercise to keep the excitement going.

I added tabs to the 3/28 google spreadsheet for 3/21, 3/14 and 4/4 build weeks. If you want to add your orders there, do it, don't do it, don't care. Seems like there's a lot of movement between the various weeks.

@RalpL did good work tracking his build week but it looked like a lot of work, I'm more of a lazy person, so I'll enable all of us to make our own updates and leave it at that.
