Ford is moving up their annual price increase on their Extended Warranties to April 1st. Prices will increase double digit percentage points starting on April 1st!

This happens once a year!!! ?

The entire process will be handled seamlessly online by electronic signature and a secure electronic deposit. Your contract will be in force within 2-3 business days of completion of the deposit and electronic signature. Ford's ESP system is nationwide and will update electronically within their system showing your contract status, so you won't need a paper copy of the contract to bring with you.

Everything’s gonna be getting very expensive for the auto manufacturers and I can’t see how they can do anything but pass on their component increases to the consumer. Worrying times ahead.

Perhaps reducing the failure rates of components would help. Better reliability means less claims and lower prices. Kind of like life insurance, groups of people who die less frequently get lower rates.

This is true but also Toyota and Honda both increase their prices year after year as well so not just a Ford thing. And Honda is more expensive for the ESP than my F150 was....

I was referring to the increased cost of aluminum if 25% tariffs are imposed by DJT on Canadian production (used in aluminum vehicles) on Mar 04/2025. Of course steel also and other components are also sourced from Canada and Mexico.

Can a person purchase their ESP before their truck is even built? I have the truck on order with a VIN and current scheduled production week of 3/10/25...

Or is this not an option?

Unfortunately ,you do have to take possession of the truck before purchasing the ESP.

No increase by Ford until 4/1 maybe, but needed to get my Ford Rewards points straightened out before I pulled the trigger on an ESP and when I went back today to buy the warranty, it's now $300 higher than a week ago. Guess I'll have to shop around a bit now. Grrr

I just looked at Grainger and its still 2465.00 for a 10/100000.. this is what i paid on my 24 xlt 2 weeks ago.

When I looked last week, a 10 yr/85k $50 deductible was $3k - now it's $3300 including a $300 service fee. For a 10/yr/100k $0 deductible Ford ESP Premium Care, Zeigler is $505 less than Grainger as of yesterday.
