Anyone know the reason some people get update emails from Ford and others do not? Ordered early Sept and haven't heard a peep from Ford other than non-order related marketing emails.

In my case, when I inquired about the emails to my dealer, he said that with the original order I placed in Sept it for some reason would not accept my email in the system when he tried. He tried again when I asked and this time it took a few tries but it finally went through. I then immediately received the email confirmation from Ford, and have also since received the next email with my VIN & build week.

So I would double check that your order is submitted with the correct email. But some people have said that despite all that, the emails just never reach them.... no one knows why. I mean, heck, the official ford tracker still doesnt work properly so it's just another broken online ford thing I guess.

I believe it's something new for 2022 orders. I ordered a 2021 in June and never heard anything from Ford. Re-ordered a 2022 in October and have gotten multiple update emails from Ford as it progresses.

I ordered a 22 in early October and haven’t received any emails/confirmation. Not sure what’s going on there

I never received an email either. I ordered back on October 4th and emailed Chip on Oct 29th if he knew what the status was. He replied right back with my build date and VIN.

I believe it has to do with whether or not your dealer has input your email on the order. That and how strong your spam filter is.



We ended up getting 40 orders scheduled this week for retail orders. Next opportunity to get scheduled is 2 weeks from now with thanksgiving off.

For Granger Ford, there is a lot of discussion on Black Appearance Package on this forum and others about availability of package. Is it true that F-150 with package won't be available til Q2 2022 per Ford. Thanks

I am surprised to see emails from Ford on vehicles that are scheduled after mine and it already says "In Production".

...because "Ford" couldn't give a rats ass about your business.

I waited for EIGHT months for my truck and never heard ANYTHING from Ford.

"You'll get your damn truck when we're good and ready to build it" was "my" takeaway.
