Is the 3.31 ( rated to pull 11,000lbs.) strong enough (good) to pull 8,000 lbs. up of 6 &7% inclines that are 2+ miles long ?

So 3.73 isint available with the 3.5 eco?3.55 for sure. The 3.55 will be better for towing no matter what gear your in.With the ten speed trans there will be little or no difference in gas mileage.I would have gotten the 3.73 if I could of but the only way to get it in my configuration was with the power boost.
Final gears do not magically go away after first gear. All the 3.55 does is help get you off the line quicker and lessen the stress on the trans and Driveline during it. Once out of first gear the trans will decide what gear to be in.
The 3.31 might get slightly better Highway mileage due to the engine not spinning as fast as with the 3.55.
With that grade cooling "might" be a bigger issue than r&p ratio.
If your asking if the r&p is physically strong enough..yes, your not going to strip/break teeth.

Correct. I just tried a build with a platinum with a 3.5 and you have to get the 5.0 to get a 3.73 rear.So 3.73 isint available with the 3.5 eco?
I opted for the 3.73 in my 5.0 and it was just a 500$ option to get it with the electronic locker. I went for it to get the 9.75 diff versus the 8.8 which you get with the other sizes
If you are ordering, Get the taller gear. 3.55 would tow better than 3.31.Is the 3.31 ( rated to pull 11,000lbs.) strong enough (good) to pull 8,000 lbs. up of 6 &7% inclines that are 2+ miles long ?
Might be worth calling your dealer as it appears to be available but may require max tow at the bottomCorrect. I just tried a build with a platinum with a 3.5 and you have to get the 5.0 to get a 3.73 rear.
YepDEF go 3.55!!!
