New member here - I just picked up a 2022 Lariat sport 2WD 5.0 last Friday, and am already planning my build. Coming from a 2018 3.5 2WD Lariat that I had the Bilstein leveling kit on.

The only options I'm seeing which specifically state 5.0 2WD compatibility are the Fox 2.0 Kit and the various ICON stage kits they offer for 2WD. I did find the Eibach kit (https://eibach.com/us/2831/E86-35-059-03-22-FORD-F-150-pro-truck-coilover-stage-2) - which is what I think I'm leaning towards. Bilstein doesn't appear to offer anything for the 2WD Gen14 F150s yet.

This is strictly a pavement truck that stays on the street in Houston. Only looking to do a 2"-2.5" level. Also considering the ICON tubular UCAs.

Anyone with experience / thoughts / suggestions would be appreciate.

I just sold a set of Eibach front coilovers this morning. They are fully adjustable, just may be changing routes. But the Eibachs have a great setup and reviews, why I went with them for my 2WD when I got them.

Appreciate it - really do think it's the way I'm gonna go. I was looking at the full ICON kits, but for my usage being all city/on-road don't really think that's necessary.

No, and I like Icon....but have read on forums, people get squeaky suspension afterwards. It maybe because they didn't add grease to bushings...or a fluke.

I'm probably going to do with the ICON UCAs still - and yes - you do have to keep those greased otherwise I could see getting noises. Seems like an easy enough thing to do every few thousand miles.

What's the general thought as to replacing UCAs while doing a coilover level?? I ask, given my application is no off-roading / street only use - with the intention of only going about 2" - 2.5" on the front??

Yeah I keep going back and forth on the UCA thing. Didn't have them on my 2018 2.5 2WD which had the Bilstein kit at 2.5", and it was fine for the 75k miles I had the truck...

yup, I haven't had any issues, and on my Ram 1500 2wd, had a 4.5/3" lift, never any issues.

good choice on the Eibach’s. they’re more road friendly compared to Fox, Bilstein and etc..
