2025 Tremor 402a Upfitter Switch Wiring

I have a 2025 Tremor 5.0 402a and I am looking to wire some side vent lighting to Aux switch 6. I've already installed 3 Raptor style LEDs in the grille which are spliced into the side lights. I'd prefer to be able to turn on/off the side vent lights which is why I'm not tapping them into the side lights as well. Every single video I see either does some custom wiring or a third party harness. I just want to use t-taps to connect power to the AUX6 yellow/orange wire but I can't find any info on where to connect the ground wire. Can I just use a pigtail and connect to the frame using the ground that's already there? Is there a specific ground wire just for the AUX switches?

Any nearby screw will work for the ground

The switch wires are already grounded so if your light has both wires just find the nearest ground and avoid running all the extra wires. If you want to keep the runs short id suggest using the cab harness under the passenger foot well. Just connect the wires you want to use under the hood and pick up power in the cab, theres a ground post right next to the harness if you need it.

Upfitter switch wiring is behind the kickplate on the passenger side by the door. You may have to dig around to get them out.

Just as a follow up I ended up using T-taps and just grounding to the battery. Super easy but would be easier if Ford made the wires longer or offered some sort of factory wiring harness. Wires are labeled, I used 5 and 6 since it was low voltage.

If you mean the wires to connect to the upfitter switches, they are in front of the battery. You don't need to disconnect/remove the battery, I didn't, but I think it could help.
