2025 Platinum/King Ranch CCD suspension?

Do the 2025s (King Ranch and Platinum) still come with the CCD suspension (Continuously Controlled Damping)? I believe in the past only the Platinum with the 702A and 703A option came with it. It was not listed in the order guide but is still listed on the F150 website.

Gotta laugh on how thing go in circles. 98 Explorer Limited had basically air ride leveling suspension that did everything today's CCD suspension is doing. Lincolns had it too.

My brothers 98 F250 7 lug also had the air leveling suspension. What a calamity that was. My basic 98 XLT followed way to often to pick up his silly ars driving a cock eyed F250 trying to mimic a low rider on psychedelic drugs.

Finally there was a company that came out with a coil over kit along with directions on how to turn of the air ride system and eliminate the air bags. What a learning curve and PIA.

When it was seen that similar type control arms are now mounted on certain F150's as the 98 Explorer or brothers 98 F250 had it was NO, NO, NO along with do not want get anywhere close to such a system ever again.

I confirm. MY25 KR FX4 does not have it.

Ride height sensors today are leveraged for a lot more than suspension leveling airbags though.

Along with wheel speed sensors that long ago was for ABS braking only.

Now both components are feeding data to drive all kinds of algorithms for all kinds of features.

Still waiting for it but I ordered with 4x4 comes with ccd suspension
Fx4 has its own suspension

Based on feedback (internet and dealership feedback), I thought CCD was pulled from the F150 - both Platinum and King Ranch. If they pulled CCD, then what is used in its place? Can anyone who has a 2025 confirm CCD on a Plat or KR?

If you do not get FX4 you will get CCD on both. This is from Ford's 2025 Platinum page on standard features (clearly lists CCD):

Indeed. There is no reference to it at all in the order guide for any trim. Yet, Ford's marketing materials continue to list CCD as a standard feature for both KR and Plat if you do not opt for FX4. I would think that Tim Bartz (Ford Video Guy) would have told ppl if CCD had been dropped altogether.

It is pretty easy to tell if you have it. First, do you have FX4? If yes, you do not have CCD. If no, check your rear strut. Is it square with wires coming out it? If yes, you have CCD. If no, take a picture, we would like to see what you got.

I searched several Ford dealers and 2025 KR in stock are all FX4. Thus, I assume that in the early production timeframe of 2025 Job 1 that CCD has been a constraint. Thus, like many things Ford, they may be only making FX4 right now. Who knows, they might delete CCD altogether. They are still charging $1,095 for adding FX4. I would like to hear from someone who ordered their truck without FX4 whether they have been scheduled for build.

Mine is scheduled for this week KR Non FX4 truck. Although i probably would have ordered it just to eliminate the CCD. I’d like to level the truck and from what I’m reading might have to do a lot more work on the CCD equipped trucks.
