I haven't really kept up on the forums for the past few months...life has gotten in the way but after seeing the changes to the 2025 KR from the 2024, I am happy I bought mine last year.

The removal of the kick switch allowing you to lower the running boards without opening the door seems like a fail just as much as removing the power tailgate switch. The onboard scales is gone now too? That one isn't so bad since it couldn't be calibrated. Plus it is so buried in my 2024's infotainment, its hard to remember where to find it since I don't use it often enough (never actually). Removing the "pro-power"/generator button seems like another fail as does moving a lot of other buttons to the radio controls from where the used to be on the top of the screen. Out of all of the new removals that I hate the most is not just on the King Ranch but is on most trim models is the removal of the wired push button access panel on the drivers door. That was a stupid one to take away.

As for the Marsh Gray...I do not like that at all. I'm very happy with the darkened bronze on my 2024 and would not buy a new 2025 just because of that two-tone color.

Think you pretty much nailed it . Can’t wait to see what they do with the Gen 15

Picked up our antimatter blue truck today...RE: the K.R. marsh grey trim that some on this site are absolutely going totally ape s_it over. It isn't great and it isn't bad and I won't need a triple daily dose of MIDOL to drive it...it is just a truck with grey trim that doesn't stand out and we don't find offensive.

Congrats on the truck, sorry your order got stuck in no-man's land.

I agree with you on Marsh Gray. I prefer the last 2 accent colors to Marsh Gray, but it's not offensive to me.

Thanks. Haven't had a truck in decades but we needed one for a spacious, capable, seasonal, tow vehicle for a mid-size TT and the Pro Power Onboard 7.2Kw sealed the deal. The antimatter blue is OK but isn't my top favorite auto blues but didn't want to drive a red, white or black truck and it seems charcoal grey is THE obligatory, 'go-to' color, ubiquitously offered in an increasingly narrow spectrum by all vehicle manufacturers (our traded in Durango was charcoal but at least it wasn't like our neighbor's flat-battleship grey Cayenne).

Couldn't tell you what the previous two or three generations of KR trim were but have always liked the King Ranch two-tone brown interior far more than the exterior. The decades old, Eddie Bauer, light beige trim likely would be the trim color that might set me off but I'd still drive it. (Like a recurrent, monthly, estrogen surge induced blemish on gorgeous, Eva Mendez...she's still Eva Mendez).

My servicing dealer has two KR on the lot with one in transit. My purchasing dealer has one. In the last 5 years I have never seen one sitting on the lot in Metro Detroit. When they offered to buy my XLT I inquired about one of them. The time it is taking to fulfill orders when most of these trucks are sitting on the lot is crazy to me. If I was in the market to buy right now I would be starting with dealerships. I didn't have this selection back in June when I bought my XLT.

Yup, exactly!
There appears to be no urgency, whatsoever, by Ford to fulfill their glitch-filled, custom order backlog from late '24...rather, crank out inventory for their wanting dealers.

What do you mean “Finally forced of marsh grey?” That’s still the two-tone color for 2025. Did you wrap it or paint it?
