Ugh, sorry. We're scheduled for 2/19 also (last updated VinView was a week ago)..doya think it's the order for the long bed or the eco boost or both (dealer insight?)?

BTW-Traveling, in early April to take a Ford Rouge assembly line tour, tour the refurbished Michigan Central Station and take in a Wings playoff-run game against the 'canes.

The Rouge is a great tour, wife took me as a gift last year

11/02/24 Placed order with dealer and my salesperson. 2025 RCSB 4x4. Email confirmation within the hour. Priority Code 03. Signed up for text updates.

11/19/24 Updated by dealer with a VIN and build date assigned for week of January 27th, 2025. Kansas City doing the build.

11/21/24 Ford texted me an update, scheduled week of production now January 6th, 2025. Salesperson emailed a short time later with the same update.

01/06/25 Ford texted update. Started production. Salesperson is in contact.

01/14/25 Production completed.

01/21/25 Shipping. Salesperson reached out after about a week after this was marked to let me know they were notified to expect the truck in the first part of February.

02/03/25 Delivered. Salesperson texts me to let me know truck has arrived, but awaiting PDI and detail. We made appt for later in the week for pickup.

02/07/25 Met up with salesperson as planned. A new 2025 F150 RCSB 5.0 4x4 is now sitting in my driveway. Didn't get back until after dark, so no pics.

We also folded the installation of a Ford Performance supercharger into the loan.

Still awaiting the arrival of the supercharger, so cruising stock for a while.

Salesperson introduced me to the service side folks who would handle that supercharger portion. I have some other things planned as well...

Ford, the dealer, and my salesperson were awesome the whole way.

Damn little salty here, 9/6 order for same build and I don’t have any update yet ?

I was warned that it could stretch to 5 or 6 months when I ordered, but thankfully that wasn't the case. Mine is an agate black 101A with a few choice options added.

I received order confirmation Oct. 28th, 1st notice came a couple of weeks ago stated build week was Feb 17th. I got notice yesterday that it has been pushed out to the week of April 7th. 6 month wait?

I have an Iconic Silver Platinum 702A FX4 on order. Order accepted on 11/20/24; scheduled 11/21/24 for the week of 1/20. Status updated to "In Production" with 1/15 date above. Date updated a week later to 1/22. On 1/31 got an email saying, amongst other verbiage: "We want to provide you with the latest update on your F‑150 Platinum vehicle order. We’ve made great progress on your new Ford vehicle but have unfortunately experienced unexpected delays." So....not sure which option is causing delays but just FYI to the forum. I have the spray-in bed liner and the retractable tonneau cover as well.

Tracking website still shows my truck in production. Chatting with customer service, they told me the truck is sitting on Ramp 51 in Flat Rock (pre-shipment holding lot) with a delivery date estimated to be 2/20. So....progress...maybe?

For those of you lucky stiffs, I've seen several posters (and some hosers) who have mentioned that it took 3 weeks b4 the status transitioned from "in production" to "built".

How long was your transition wait in status?

Mine took 6 weeks, but 3 of those were stuck in a QA Hold status

Mine just updated to "In Production".
My 24 Mustang took 3-4 weeks to transition to Built on the tracker. But was listed to be built in 1 week.
My 18 F150 took less than 3 days.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Built on the tracker just means (paperwork) accepted by the shipper.


Those that are calling or chatting to Ford, you can ask for "secondary status: and you will usually get a little more information.

Current Status from Ford Chat is Shipped to dealer. I don't have a rail car number yet so not sure it is on the car even though they state it is. Deliver date is 03/16 - 03/22.
Very similar timeline to my 2018 F150 order.
