Seems to be, no rhyme or reason but your confirmed order was placed 5 weeks b4 ours and your production is 5 weeks after ours.

There is always a reason. Build, dealership volume, location and a few other things all play a part in when a vehicle gets scheduled to be built.

And I seen it mentioned about dealer priority. 10-19 is basically the same (normal), I have even seen some under 9 that didn't show anything unusual. Only one that mattered that I have seen is 1 but is extremely rare to get.

I have also seen window stickers be available just before scheduled build and the scheduled build get moved week by week for a month. This is why I asked if anyone has seen that yet.

So far for me this seems back to normal if my scheduled build doesn't move from 02/24.
I ordered because I was told the wait was 4-6 month but can live with a 3-4 month.

So far I’m pleased with being given a priority 19. Was told 12-14 weeks from order to delivery and seems about right.

Question for those that ordered a 2025 Platinum, did it come with the pro style tailgate or did you have to request that option? I am getting conflicting answers when I ask about it. I have a 2025 F-150 with the 702a package on order.

According to Fords trim level comparison when building an F150, the Pro Access Tailgate is standard on Platinum trim levels.

My belief is the Plat 702A has the PAT standard, but with that it does not have that integrated tailgate step. Maybe the info you were receiving was confusing those two separate features?

Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Believe I've read that is true w/ the K.R. trim too... in '24 most of the early builds were not outfitted w/ the pro access gate due shortages in Ford's inventory.

I'm still scheduled for Feb 24th. I was wondering if they were going to push back the scheduled builds. I have not seen them push back that length of time in any of my pervious orders. They would just go from 1 week to the next.

What is your build, specifically the trim and engine?

Ugh, sorry. We're scheduled for 2/19 also (last updated VinView was a week ago)..doya think it's the order for the long bed or the eco boost or both (dealer insight?)?

BTW-Traveling, in early April to take a Ford Rouge assembly line tour, tour the refurbished Michigan Central Station and take in a Wings playoff-run game against the 'canes.

is 2/18 (KR PB, FX4/Max tow w/ short bed)...given this and F150Fordzilla's post (eco/long bed) above, who may guess what is the holdup/delay in your production date (?)

11/02/24 Placed order with dealer and my salesperson. 2025 RCSB 4x4. Email confirmation within the hour. Priority Code 03. Signed up for text updates.

11/19/24 Updated by dealer with a VIN and build date assigned for week of January 27th, 2025. Kansas City doing the build.

11/21/24 Ford texted me an update, scheduled week of production now January 6th, 2025. Salesperson emailed a short time later with the same update.

01/06/25 Ford texted update. Started production. Salesperson is in contact.

01/14/25 Production completed.

01/21/25 Shipping. Salesperson reached out after about a week after this was marked to let me know they were notified to expect the truck in the first part of February.

02/03/25 Delivered. Salesperson texts me to let me know truck has arrived, but awaiting PDI and detail. We made appt for later in the week for pickup.

02/07/25 Met up with salesperson as planned. A new 2025 F150 RCSB 5.0 4x4 is now sitting in my driveway. Didn't get back until after dark, so no pics.

We also folded the installation of a Ford Performance supercharger into the loan.

Still awaiting the arrival of the supercharger, so cruising stock for a while.

Salesperson introduced me to the service side folks who would handle that supercharger portion. I have some other things planned as well...

Ford, the dealer, and my salesperson were awesome the whole way.
