If you build one the 500A lists Active X. If you click and unroll 501A it lists the seats as leather trimmed on the Lariat

Does anyone know how much of a price difference there is between msrp and invoice?
Historically, invoice has been 6-7% off sticker depending on specific options and the trim level.

The platinum is the same price by MSRP, but that lease price is insane!!! I got my platinum 702a for about $740/month. For the new one they want over $1000/month! I know there aren't incentives, but the 2023 Platinum I ordered (delivered in november that i didn't pick up), was also $740/month. Looks like Ford wants you to purchase these trucks now. Insane.

I am jealous space white is back, I LOVE that color.

I’m not really sure where Ford is going with our beloved trucks but it doesnt seem like the right direction. The platinum plus is late availability and more things cut/reduced. The 24 roll out was pretty much a complete disaster. What the heck is going on ? I’ll be interested to see the 25 build page for Canuckistan. XLT should be $90k ?

Just get one with a PAT and find someone to swap with if you don't want that gate ?‍♂
There's only 16 6.5 bed KRs showing, most are in transit (in the US)

I have an obsessive desire for factory authenticity with something like this. Paint work on my star white 2020 after it was hit while parked left a lot to be desired. I'm about to find out how good another shop's paint work is on my 21. I'd rather have a orange peel riddled all original factory coat than roll the dice on paint work, or to swap with someone and notice the shade is slightly off.

I have a BMW 135i that no longer reflects the original build, swapped out to black carpet from beige, euro tails, big rad, custom dual oil coolers running in parallel, had it apart to replace the turbos, list goes ON- nowadays I have less time/energy and I'd like to buy the car/truck and not touch it!

The irony is that I've been playing with the 25 configurator because I've always had a soft spot for supercabs, and a paint matched BAP bumper with duals would set this off nicely.. TOD swap, Raptor takeoffs, the list also goes on

The configurator is a real tease, too, with these raptor esque tires. I was looking forward to maybe finding a used set of these 18" BAP XLT wheels, and then I realized I've seen these in person already on the OE GY Wrangers and didn't look as awesome.

Wow! Price for the same 2024 XL 101A RCSB 4X4 jumped 2 grand. This doesn't include running boards and tinted/defrost rear glass either, as those both aren't available anymore. Just wow.

When you add securicode in the configurator, the keypad appears on the door above the handle like an old Ford, instead of on the B pillar trim. Hopefully that's just the configurator, cause otherwise they're drilling through the door it looks like?

Err, wow!

I'd strongly prefer an F-150, but not $30,000 of prefer!

:eek::eek:

Heads Up Display requires Lariat High--the only thing in that $5,000+ over 501A package that interests me.

After which, adding the Bed Utility package for $1620 removes "Remote Start with Remote Tailgate Release". Huh? Why would it interfere with remote start.

Moving up to King Ranch, massaging seats are no longer available. Multicontor seats, yes, but Active Motion on them is no Platinum only. But it did keep the power running boards (frankly, I'd prefer to do an aftermarket set, hoping for two levels of step for my wife).

Anyway, $86k to get the massaging seats!

I'm really not sure what I'm gong to do at this point.

I want powerboost, PAT (or similar), HUD, lane centering, remote start, power tailgate, tilt seat, and massaging seat. Power running boards, whether aftermarket or factory (which would mean removing non-power boards that came with it!).

Would rather not have, but resigned to,, 4WD and supercrew.
When I had to replace my truck that got totaled the information on the new trucks was confusing. Especially trying to find something that didn’t han have major deleted options. I settled on the 24 KR. It listed multi contour seats but not active motion. However it has active motion. So maybe they still have it in 25. If not it’s a weird move for Ford. The KR is better than the platinum plus.

Ahh got it. The Ford dealer I’ve purchased through before said he could get me close to invoice! I plan on custom ordering in January/February. Hopefully there’ll be more incentives by then. I plan to lease first since there’s no interest. And if the truck holds up, I’ll buy it out since I haven’t owned a Ford since my 2015 Focus ST haha

Also, the total dealer margin climbs as you go up the trendy and luxury scales.

Granger offers 7% below on wranglers, for example, telling us the they're higher margin.

And, at least as of a few years ago, the total margin on Corvettes and Cadillacs was about 25%.

There are holdbacks and whathaveyou that the dealers get back when the car sells; this is why places like Granger can profitably sell below invoice

I am jealous space white is back, I LOVE that color.
Is it Ford's version of Cadillac's White Diamond?

But I already have . . . [pause and count] . . . oh, only one of my white Cadillacs is white diamond ?

for work I need a crew cab and the 6.7 bed 157wb. My 2021 has the blackout sport package with color coded bumpers. Was looking to order a new one but I see the sport package is only available in the 145wb for lariat and XLT… why would they do this? Just not a chrome fan

THIS. Skipped on picking up my 2024 because 5.5 ft bed. Was hopefully waiting to order 2025 with 6.5 ft bed and BAP. Can't stand the chrome. Got me looking at GMC.

I wouldn’t touch GM or Chevy with a 10 ft pole…. The only engine I’d consider in the 1500 is the baby 3.0 Duramax. The 5.3 and 6.2 are riddled with lifter failures because of the garbage cylinder deactivation.

Yeah, I'd go with the 3.0 Duramax. I think it's the best power plant in the half-ton market right now - barring usefulness of the pro power onboard. Especially considering that diesel is cheaper than mid-grade or premium where I'm at.
