2022 F-150 Lightning Lariat ER
Minor to some but Homelink (aka Universal garage door opener) removed on all trims except Tremor.

Isn't the DIO Securicode some stick-on panel instead of a built-in part of the B-pillar?

Also Built-in navigation used to let you still enter destinations and navigate when it expired - you just didn't get traffic or map updates. But now it's just a moving map per note:
Navigation services require SYNC®4 [...]. Eligible vehicles receive a
complimentary 1-year trial of navigation services that begins on the new
vehicle warranty start date. [....] If
not subscribed by the end of the complimentary period, the connected navigation service will revert to a moving-map and active routing will no
longer be available.

In 2024, the Order Guide stated: ....
If not subscribed by the end of the complimentary period, the connected
navigation service will terminate, and the system will revert to embedded
offline navigation.

Folks with 2024 Lightnings are already seeing the "no navigation available" behavior.

Man, I'm glad I ordered my 2024 LARIAT 501A, FX4, BAP, BUP w/ PAT, Tow Package, Roof, Tow Mirrors and Block Heater. My Dealer gave me 4% under invoice like Granger does. $68k OTD! Can't beat that. Today, I just did all the updates with FDRS. My Air Conditioning Blows much harder after the HVAC update. There were several other updates too that enhanced some things, but that is for another post.

A Lariat similar to mine is $10k higher! I built an XLT how I'd want it and it's $5k higher than my current Lariat and doesn't have 4 Auto, heated steering wheel, or ventilated seats. That's quite the increase in two years!

The chrome caps on the 25 KR would kill it for me. I love having body colored on my 24! The only thing I like better on the 25 is the 1 year included blue cruise. I only got 3 months on mine. Hopefully they drop the damn price eventually on the subscription.

Platinum seat color black/blue. Picturing the Mustang Dark Horse interior, which I really don't like. What is with Ford designers thinking a "high end" interior has to either be blue or have blue accents everywhere?

Glad I got the black/tan interior on my GMC. It is very similar to the Thoroughbred interior of my 2017 Lincoln MKZ Black Label. Each time I stepped into the 2023 Limited, the blue man song would pop into my head.

I'm blue

Can't even configure my truck for 25 w/ out going to the 303a. 302a w/ some of my options is already...
Ford F-150 2025 F-150 Order Guide 1724800689750-zy

Using 303 package to build mine is 12k more than I paid. This is an XLT F150!?
That makes zero sense

A lariat with the same options is cheaper, but w/ heated/cooled seats and doesn't look like a racoon. WTH? Ford is bonkers

I had the Active X in a Ford Edge and I could not tell it wasn't leather. I guess it is their way of going cheaper, charging the customer more, and going green by not killing some Cows. Doh!

I actually think it’s more durable in the long run. Easier to clean I believe too

Well, short of finding a PAT delete 2024 KR 6.5' local to me, I think I might wait until the 15th gen. Features are supposed to trickle down.. the creek is drying up!

I was content with waiting until 27-28, but I didn't plan on getting run into by an old accord. So, now I'm itching for an early upgrade but they no longer make the truck the way I want it ?

Just get one with a PAT and find someone to swap with if you don't want that gate ?‍♂
There's only 16 6.5 bed KRs showing, most are in transit (in the US)

shh. It really beats the Avocado Green Everywhere! of the 60s . . . the green in my house is down to the formica counters and the painted back patio, but there was a lot left when I bought, and nearly half the houses on the block were still green. Green shag, green bathrooms, green appliances, green green . . .

Does anyone know how much of a price difference there is between msrp and invoice?
As a vague ballpark, from examples in past threads, granger's 4% below invoice has tended to be, roughly, give or take 10% below sticker.

and going green by not killing some Cows. Doh!
The horror! leaving said cow alive to continue burping more methane into the atmosphere!

I wonder how the synth letheroid substance compares to real leather in durability? Like splits and such? I'm thinking of the seat in the otherwise nice interior of the '99 Deville I just acquired.

[actually, living in the desert, I'd much prefer velour or cloth to leather, which is miserable summer and unpleasant winter. About the only positive thing about it is that it's not as bad as vinyl . . .]

I was content with waiting until 27-28, but I didn't plan on getting run into by an old accord.
wait a minute; an accord took out your F-150?

Isn't that a violation of the Law of Conservation of Metal?

[I recall years ago, in my $400 college car, a '71 Plymouth Fury III wagon, it backing at idle into a Honda. Punched out the hood, grill, and radiator without scratching the bumper pads. And the insurance adjuster attributed it to the popping out of gear that Audis were dong back them, and didn't raise my rates!]
