I had a similar problem with a jeep and was able to use Louisiana redhibition law to recouple vaule lost. I promtly got rid of the vechile after the repair. It is time consuming by keeping very detailed records on converstations, statments, and reports in writing with a date. I would also add get signaures when every possilbe to make your case more ironclad.

As Forest Gump would say it happens.

How do you think Toyota Tundra owners feel about getting a brand new engine. Or being unable to sell their vehicles until they and 99,999 other Tundra owners get their trucks fixed?

I personally would push for another truck!
700 miles and already needing a new engine.
UNACCEPTABLE!
I talked to them about trading out of it. Problem is, I ordered this truck specific and apparently I am the only one who prefers a super cab over a crew cab. HAHA. So of course there is not another one out there like mine within 500 miles, at least according to the "locate" feature on Ford's website. Still waiting for the service department to get back with me on details as well.

Hopefully they can make it right for you.
Sucks having a brand new truck with a bad motor.
I went down that same route with a brand new 2023 Durango R/T. Engine was replaced twice and needed a third replacement all within the first 7,000 miles.
Engine block wasn’t milled correctly at the plant which was causing severe oil leaks at various locations on the engine. 5.7L
Dodge did offer to replace my Durango with a new one but I was totally done with Dodge at that point.
Traded it on a new Explorer ST and never looked back.

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
The risk here is not the short block. I can identify three things. One, someone with experience needs to be doing the assembly of the heads to the block. That is critical. Few techs will have that experience (opinion). Second, pulling the body off is easy. Disconnecting and reconnecting wires properly can be a problem. Get ready for some weird stuff to start until all of those connectors are worked out. There can be loom stretching because something was not unplugged properly, things that are never plugged back in, pins off center, etc. These trucks run courtesy of multiple connectors. Three, get ready because all of those bolts will not torqued to spec. This is why this crap is frustrating.
