2024 F150 Platinum 22” tire vibrations

I purchased a 2024 Ford F150 platinum. From the day I took delivery I’ve had Thai vibrations. It’s at the dealer currently for the third time after having road forced balance all four wheels twice the second time around they found a defective general tire. After driving the truck for 200 miles the vibration came back. It’s been at the dealer now for six days And some Technician suggested that I don’t drive my truck enough and it has flat spots on the tires. How ridiculous is that one? I believe the general tires on this truck are defective. I’ve had many four trucks over the last 35 years and this platinum has been nothing but a problem. Has anyone else had issues with the new 22 inch rims and tires on a Ford platinum it is also Ppwer Boost and also has has issues with module reprogramming, engine misfiring.

Could be a bent wheel. Remove the tire and see if wheel balances. I’ve had this issue before on a motorhome. They balanced the tire on the balance, removed from balancer and reinstalled and was out of balance. Replaced all 6 tires. Finally they tried to balance wheels and realized the 2 front were slightly bent…..from factory.

While it sucks, I’ve never had any good luck with balancing at any dealer. Their balancing efforts are subpar at best. A local tire store is a much better option, at least for me. I’ve had the best luck going that route.

very possible bad tire. Could even be an improperly torqued wheel.

The Dealer is Salem Ford, Key Auto Group in Salem NH. I believe they are going to try a 4 wheel swap this morning and see if the vibration goes away. The service manager agrees that flat spots are not even the issue. IHis tech told him that he felt my vehicle sits idle for two weeks at a time and I had flat spot's. Absurd. I ran the largest Ford Dealership in New England in the 80’s. I restore classic cars and it’s frustrating dealing with dumb things. On top of everything I bought a 85000 Platinum with a regular F150 tailgate. Guess I’m stuck with that too. The Service Manager is Derrick. He’s doing everything he needs to do so far

I have the same issues with mine. Along with humming/vibrating from the front end that shakes the pedal and steering wheel. happens at any speed above 30 mph and mainly when accelerating. I have been waiting for a spot to open at the dealership for about a month..

Discount Tire is the best place for tire balancing if you run out of options. At least they were able to help me.
