Hey guys thought I would start a build thread for what I am building. Picked up a 24 f150 4x4 single cab last weekend. Pulled the bumpers, grille, and door handles off on day 2 for paint matching. On day 3 I placed a nice order with Beefcake racing for all the good stuff:

*Whipple Stage 2.
* Ridetech 3/5 lowering kit.
*Ridetech traction bars and bags.
*SPD high flow cats.
*Vossen HF6-1. 20X9.5 Satin black.
*General UHP 295/50r20 tires.
*Magnaflow 12249 muffler.
*Vibrant ultra quiet resonator

I’ll try and post pics and updates as parts are installed. I’ve always wanted to build one of these and excited to see what this platform can do. Especially when tuning is available.

Well why not go Kooks long tubes with green cats, and an E85 kit, you got just about everything else covered ...?

Didn’t want the extra noise from headers. Also heard they are huge pain to install. You can’t run e85 on the 2024’s right now. Maybe when tuning becomes available.

Close to 19k right now. Terry the owner of Beefcake racing gave me a great price on most of the big items. The high flow cats aren’t cheap but I’ve heard horror stories of the stock cats melting with the Whipple & blowing the motor. You can also spend less on other lowering kits but I wanted the best ride quality and no squeaking and noisy parts.

If you don’t mind me asking. What option of the SPD Alpha Catted Y-Pipe did you purchase? The Alpha 6” Ceramic +500 Cell EPA for $2,195 or the 6” GESI 85600 G-Sport UHO EPA for $3,995? And how are they holding up since you posted in November that you had them?

I just received them a couple days ago. I just ordered the alpha cats. I called the company and they said those are fine to about 1,000hp.

I’ll post some updates of the truck soon. I installed a center console. My buddy is installing oem Lariat leather right now. The original wheels (+15 offset with 295 tires) had way too much poke for me. I ordered a set of custom Vossens (+30 with 275 tires). Probably switching the driver seat to power. I’ve got an oem Lariat wheel to install. Whipple is supposedly 12 weeks out from original purchase date.

Ok thanks! And Whipple says “12 Weeks” but I ordered mines 11/7, got it on 12/11, dropped my truck off to Ford on 12/12 and had it installed/driving it by 12/19. I just think it depends on what time of the year your order it. During heavy discounts on holidays then it just may take up to 12 Weeks due to high order volume. If I would’ve waited until the Christmas or Black Friday sales myself I could’ve gotten up to like $600 off but in return my original expected shipping date was already in the middle of January 2025. So it definitely would’ve gotten pushed back even further and I wouldn’t be driving my Christmas present early! So I say it was worth the $600 because they knew they’d be backed up during the holidays and that’s probably why they went ahead and shipped mines so early.

I ordered that same day! Did you order a stage 1 or 2?

I'm thinking of perhaps getting a truck and driving it a few thousand miles to make sure nothing is really defective from the factory, then putting a stage 2 on it. Kind of a way to give myself insurance against the factory defect scenario before I void the powertrain warranty. My credit union will lend me the money to get a truck AND get a blower without getting the blower immediately. They will just pay for the truck and give me the rest, at the low interest rate. That allows me the most flexibility.

I recommend it. I waited until 9,450 miles. That's not to say something can't happen down the road. It just seemed right to give the parts a chance to get to know one another.

This is similar to what I just did. I bought my truck new. Drove it from February to December, waited to put 15K miles on it and just added the Gen 6x Stage 1 Whipple to it so that I can drive it another 21K with the 3Yr/36k Whipple Warranty. I also added a Banks IDash Data Monster ? to my truck to monitor all my (Cats, ECT, IAT and MAD) temps, horse power and boost. Oh and not to forget my UPR Catch Can setup. ?
