2024 F-150 Loud Ticking

I just purchased this 2024 Ford F-150 5.0. Twice I've towed a boat and launched it. After being out for a few hours, I backed my trailer in to get the boat. While stopped on the ramp, this was the noise it was making. I have had it at the dealership twice and they can't duplicate the noise. Any ideas?

Powerboost here , I also noticed this , usually only hear it when I'm under the hood it will randomly have a series of clicks. Not sure what the hell it is but no issues so far.

Yeah, no clue here also. Mine is the 5.0.

This reminds me of the reason I was happy to turn my 2020 5.0 in. Sounded like a diesel. I never tried to investigate it, but I always thought it might be related to low oil or oil consumption. The fact yours was making this noise while parked on a ramp, seems to jive with some part of the engine without enough oil?

That's what I thought too. I've asked them about the oil and they said they checked it.

Did someone from the line assembly leave something that shouldn't be attached to the drivetrain pre-cab & bed attachment? That sounds crazy!

I asked if there could be anything loose in there and they said no. I don't think they are doing a thorough job. I'm taking it to another dealership next week.

It definitely does not sound normal.
My 5.0, when at cold high idle, sounds like a diesel. Otherwise it sounds fine. I've found premium fuel helps to reduce the "noisiness" of the engine.
The noise yours makes is highly abnormal and magnitudes louder than a normal 5.0 "noise".

Turn the A/C off and see if it stops. Almost sounds like the clutch on the air conditioning compressor has rust.

That’s pretty loud. Definitely sounds like the motor. The best oil for the 5.0 is 5w-40. I’ve been running this since almost new. The 5.0 rated up to 5w-50. Remember, heavy loads, high heat, and hard driving you benefit from slightly thicker hot viscosity.
