I got a call yesterday morning that my truck was in and then 10 minutes later a call that it wasn't actually my truck it was the wrong engine and not my truck. That one hurt. I hope a white or silver comes in before mine so that I can see what they look like in person because I am not sure I love the AMB as much as I did 4 months ago........

Ouch! Incompetence is so prevalent these days.

Yeah...I hear you on AMB. But stay the course!!! Hopefully, it will arrive soon and you will love it.

My truck is still in "Built" status. I wonder if I will get a 4th estimated ship date soon.

I ordered my truck on 8/18/2022 and got an email from Ford on 10/13/2022 that stated that "Your Vehicle Is Scheduled For Production". The VIN (among other things) was included in this email.

Did you ever get an email from Ford confirming your order being received?

I haven't received the scheduled for production email yet, I got an email on the 23rd saying there's still supply chain issues.

She didn't have any answers on that front, but she did share what she's seeing on her end....which she is now seeing an estimated ship date of Jan 1-7. She had some more detials, so maybe this is more of a "real" date now? The previous statuses where also "Awaiting Shipment" and the secondary status was "Released". Now the seconday status says "Origin Received". Also, the previous "Vehicle Location" was very general, and now a Ramp number is listed.

Our current estimate for delivery is between January 16, 2023 and January 22, 2023. Once it arrives, a dealership representative will contact you to arrange final delivery. And down the stretch it comes. Let's see if I get an email tomorrow that something is delayed again. Fingers crossed!!!

No news since.
Here is what is odd… I have been checking the tracker every day with no change, except the window sticker “disappearing”. I checked the tracker yesterday and it shows my truck is now at the dealer in “Final Prep”.
I have not received an email from Ford saying that it shipped.
Ford’s website does not show it in inventory.
But my dealer’s website shows that they now have a Tremor, with my VIN, and my window sticker, in stock. No pictures available, however.
Dealer is silent. I know I should call but maybe I’m too scared to get my heart broken.
Frustration continues.

I would definitely call. There have been people that have had their truck sold from underneath them by the dealer due to poor communication. If your truck is sitting at the dealership, you should call or go by there.

Yup. I would call or go by your dealer asap. If you ordered it, you should have an email from Ford backing that up, with a VIN. I have not heard anyone getting their truck sold out from under them, but you never know. An ordered truck makes the deal a lot less in almost all cases...versus one on the lot that they can maybe still get away with a $5k to $10K "Market Adjustment".

I have been emailing my dealer frequently throughout the process. So far, they have been great to deal with.

Never thought of them possibly selling it out from under me, but with it being a Z-Plan order, too, they may have even more incentive to do just that.
