Currently I have about 3500 miles and have a long list of issues with my truck.

-Listed from Most Significant to Least Significant (Details Below it)

Rolls backwards while in Park and turned off (Occurred once so far)
Twice - Truck won't start. "Full accessory power mode active" and "Stop safely now"
Awful Rattle noise coming from transmission possibly. Occurs on cold morning start (Below 40 degrees F)
While Driving truck jerks when engine turns on or off at lower speeds (especially under 5 mph)
Engine missing/Idles rough on cold start (approx 32 F)
Wireless CarPlay disconnects repeatedly for all iphones
Shifter makes a loud grinding noise when stowing away flat
Battery Deep Sleep Issue
Passenger headrest

Details for above issues:

Rolls backwards while in Park and turned off
While parked on a slight uphill incline in a parking lot, I parked my truck IN PARK, applied the parking brake and turned it off.
I got out and I was putting on my ski boots behind the truck with my tailgate down. When my wife opened my the passenger door to
get out, the truck started rolling backwards. The truck started rolling directly towards me. I ran the driver door, opened it,
and stepped on the brake. While holding the brake I climbed in the driver seat. I confirmed it was in Park and the parking brake
was engaged. All of this is caught on the parking mode of my dash cam. Now every time time park the truck, I chock the wheel.

Twice - Full accessory power mode active" and "Stop safely now"
The truck says pull over to a safe place and have it towed to the dealer.
It won't start. It won't do anything except power the accessories.
The internet says to leave it alone and keep the keyfob away from it for 30-45 minutes. That worked.
First time it happened while in 4AWD after a rear wheel slip
Second time it happend while slowing exiting my driveway right as the engine turned itself off.

Awful Rattle noise coming from transmission possibly. Occurs on cold morning start (Below 40 degrees F)
Apperently this one is common. Wow it is a terrible noise.

While Driving truck jerks when engine turns on or off at lower speeds (especially under 5 mph)
When accelerating from a stop light and the engine turns back on, it jerks as the engine turns on.
It also jerks when the engine turns off during hard braking (traffic or other situations)
At speed above 45, you cannot even feel when the engine turns on or off.

Engine missing/Idles rough on cold start (approx 32 F)
Engine idles rough on very cold mornings

Wireless CarPlay disconnects repeatedly for all iphones
Wired CarPlay works fine.
Wireless CarPlay is horrible.
Disconnects/Reconnects multiple times even on short 20 minute drives
We have tried multiple phones and with several versions of iOS

Shifter makes a loud grinding noise when stowing away flat
When stowing away the shifter it sounds terrible. It sounds like a cheap piece of plastic. It has sounded this way since I bought it.
Now it just bothers me since this list is so long.

Battery Deep Sleep Issue
This one seems to have gone away since I did the flash the lights trick to reset the battery.

Passenger headrest
The little tab on the passenger headrest isn't pushed in all of the way. It should be an easy fix, but I don't want to
break anything trying to fix it.

I dropped it off today. I'll keep everyone posted. The service manager said that he is quite backed up with transmissions. :(

Time for a trip to the dealer. I am one month in on a 2023 and everything perfect so far.
Oh no; now you've gone and done it! Those Ford gremlins were just waiting for you to say that.

Urgent: Comprehensive Failure to Address Multiple Serious Issues with my 2021 F150 PowerBoost, Platinum Trim (VIN: 1FTFW1ED9MFB70385)

Dear Ford Forum Members,

I'm writing to share my profound disappointment and concern regarding the ongoing issues with my 2021 F150 PowerBoost Platinum, purchased on June 1st, 2021, for over $80,000. Despite my initial excitement in switching from GMC to Ford based on strong recommendations, my experience has been marred by repeated mechanical failures and inadequate responses from Ford's customer service team.

The problems with my vehicle began with a sheared axle bolt discovered on May 9th, 2022, indicating a manufacturing defect that required a complete axle replacement at only 7,365 miles; later this issue became a recall item. Subsequently, from January 10th, 2023, through December 11th, 2023, my truck required servicing on at least five separate occasions for critical failures, including powertrain malfunctions, pre-collision assist faults, service engine soon, pull over safely, and electrical issues with the accelerator pedal position sensor leading to complete vehicle disablement.

Despite multiple repairs, including lengthy service periods from December 12th, 2023, to February 12th, 2024, and again February 16th - March 22nd, during which the hybrid drive unit and transmission pump were replaced, transmission inspections, and auxillary battery was replaced, my vehicle continues to exhibit the same disabling faults. During this last instance, after retrieving the vehicle that was cleared for release by Ford engineers, it was incapacitated within a day, requiring towing and another service period with no resolution in sight.

My attempts to engage with Ford's customer service for resolution have been met with inefficacy and disinterest. Despite opening two cases (CXH-01533048 and CXH-01720950-B2H1R4 CRM:0974049) and repeated outreach, my requests for a buyback under the Virginia State Lemon Law were dismissed without proper review of my vehicle’s extensive service history or consideration of its repeated failures. The fact that I have a truck still under warranty, that Ford has been unable to fix with five plus attempts should be enough to warrent them providing me a new truck. The response from Ford, indicating my ineligibility for buyback due to technicalities rather than addressing the vehicle's inherent unreliability, is unacceptable.

The depreciated appraised value from the dealership of $37,000 for a vehicle of this caliber and low mileage starkly illustrates the impact of its failures on its value, further compounding my losses and dissatisfaction. Especially, when Carvana will offer $50,395 for the same truck. It's disheartening to witness Ford’s inaction and indifference towards a loyal customer facing significant inconvenience and safety concerns.

I look forward to listening to other victims concerns and I'm hopefull that Ford will be compelled to do the right thing.

I feel your pain, my friend. My 2023 F150 Powerboost, purchased around Dec 1, 2023, started sending deep sleep and shutdown messages at around 800 miles. I called the GM of the dealership after I had looked at forums of others with the same issue. I told him others were complaining of issues with the Powerboost battery not charging well with short distance driving habits, leading to shutdown. My wife, with an Expedition ECOBOOST purchased at the same time, and the same driving habits, had zero issues. He told me he had not heard of these issues, but "will handle it if it continues to be a problem". 3 visits to the dealership service later, 2 cases denied by Ford Buyback, no help from the GM except offer trade-in with truck devalued by $20,000 (1000 miles on truck), basically a "screw-you" after spending $175,000 on 2 vehicles in 2 months. BTW.....dealership service department knows all about the Powerboost issues.....only SALES "hasn't heard about them". Ford and the dealerships selling the Powerboost ought to be ashamed
