In the past week I’ve had multiple warning lights appear.
- trailer brake module fault: I ended up pulling the fuse and putting it back in. Fixed
As of yesterday.
- Hill start assist warning
- service engine soon warning
- ABS warning
- Pre-Collision assist not available
- Service AdvanceTrac warning

Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions before I bring it to the dealership?

Sorry to hear. That is a pretty significant list... definitely dealer time.

Others have had numerous warnings like this come up due to a low or failing battery.

I've had the same warnings you experienced yesterday several times, only on an Explorer. One time was a failed wheel speed sensor and 2 other times were failed MAP sensors. The failed map sensors caused the vehicle to run like crap as well.

Both were easily diagnosed with an OBD code reader. I did the repairs myself because they were simple fixes and it was more cost effective to me to do it than hassle with a dealership. YMMV on DIY or dealer visit depending on your comfort level diagnosing and fixing issues like this.

If you have a voltmeter test your battery charge level. Many errors are surfacing when battery gets low. Yes it new and no it shouldn’t be low. That said many have had charging issues and with less mileage than you then received various faults. Dealer likely your next step but checking battery is a quick step

Hi, sorry to hear, check the thread on here “massive problems….dealers useless, sound likes the problems I encountered, that thread might help you with dealer. Good luck. From my experience, Ford distain for its own customers, is an absolute nightmare!

Whenever I see Trailer Brake Module I always go back to my issue. See here for more: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/full-truck-reboot-while-driving.14378/post-392312

in your case wonder if another module is spamming, or if it's the trailer brake module. I would start by just unplugging trailer brake module and seeing if the errors calm down.

I ended up bringing it into the dealership. Add wheel speed sensor to the mix now also. I had to have the battery replaced last month as the truck kept going into battery saver mode. It was defective.
The dealership gave me a loaner truck and ordered the needed parts. Hoping to have it back by the end of the week. Not the dealerships (DePaula Ford in Albany, NY) fault here, they’ve been great.

I had a similar problem where the BMS noticed voltage in the battery below a benchmark set by the software. This causes a cascade effect of the truck shutting down systems that trickle drain while the truck is parked with the engine off. Dealer needed to do a master reset and then proceeded to tell me that in general we need to drive our trucks more... like at least 50-100 miles in one trip per week or more often. The alternator doesn't generate enough charge to during a 5-10 mile trip each day (in my case to work) to keep the battery at a high enough voltage. The temporary solution in the short term is to hook my battery up to a trickle charger once a week for an overnight charge. Once the battery dies in a year or two and the truck is out of warranty, I'm going to have my mechanic (not the dealer) put in a bigger battery... the battery tray will fit a much larger AGM battery than OEM battery. Hopefully that will allow me to go longer without using a trickle charge. Ford really needs to make larger alternators for their trucks!

Not OP - but I had 90% of those same error messages that resolved forever with a new battery last year. Also a 23 PB

Was your battery defective? Was your truck going into battery saving mode and was it covered under warranty?
