I swapped in a H8 AGM about 8 months ago, coupled a Ford OTA update to the BMS and haven't had an issue since. My 22 is the 6 cylinder twin-turbo Ecoboost... had all those battery issues prior to swapping in an H8. Been smooth sailing... not a single power issue since.
I cut the blanket with the cut on the side away from the engine. No issues since installing the H8 and cutting the existing blanket which only shows a small gap.
