For a non-step tailgate I got 20lbs with a few different tries and orientations with a digital pull scale at the very edge (where it would be the easiest).

I have a manual-up tailgate with step and just shoved ~18" of vac pipe into one of the clamp holes and measured 14lbs so you're going to have to get creative. Might consider attaching something at a clamp point to provide mechanical advantage to assist.Simple question. Not allowed to lift more than 10lbs for a few months.
