Yeah, try going up to mid or high grade and see if it goes away. It worked for me-these engines can work on 87 but I don’t think they do so happily. There is a great thread in the 3.5L Ecoboost forum on here on how running different grades of gas affect the timing and ignition, worth a read as I think it is likely the issue.

Could also be bad gas if the tanks at the station have some water intrusion, but only makes sense if you fill up at the same place over and over.

No it’s definitely not gas related. Always run premium and octane boost. It’s literally an hour after truck has been offed and locked. It sounds like it cycles the locks. And sounds like it gives power to th speakers. Will do it all night and day. It’s very loud and obvious

I wonder if the new Ford Performance tune fixes this?
The one stage colder spark plugs made my truck happy. But I have to change them a lot as I run octane boost and run truck hard in most aggressive tune consistently. Have 22k miles on MPT PRX tune. I just leave it on. But definitely have to run premium. But to me it’s way worth it. 4$ more per 10 gallons but the truck loves it and I love the truck
