Ok cool. Should be pretty simple then right? Just remove the tailgate work surface and access the bolts from the inside? Enough room to fit a ratchet in there? Also, does it have any sort of adhesive on it as well?
I don’t quite understand what you’re saying. Are you talking about the tailgate handle? Mine is the faux handle that doesn’t move. Can you help me connect the dots here. Def wanna know any tips or shortcuts you have. Looks like you’ve done a lot of the things I’m about to do to my truck.
I was referring to the post where you stated you had to remove the door panel, etc. to fix the assembly when installing your door handles. You can use a pick and grab the assembly vs. pulling it all apart.
Oh that makes more sense. I think that must’ve been someone else. I was only asking about the tailgate handle. Did you apply heat to the emblem on the appliqué to get it off after you unbolted it from inside the tailgate?
How did you do the running boards? I'm wondering if they will be easy to take apart and vinyl wrap/paint them.I ended up using Avery Dennison Diamond White Vinyl. The match is about 99%
