2022 PB would not shift out of park

This has now happened to me twice and I don't remember seeing this issue in this forum. My 2022 PB Platinum started fine, but would not let me shift the console shifter out of park. Even when I turned the truck off and back on it was still stuck in park. Both times, the problem was resolved by pressing the button to fold the shifter down and then back up, and then I was able to shift out of park like usual. I last did all the updates to my truck with FDRS about 6-8 months ago. Any ideas?

Oh good lord. Just what I needed with this shit wagon, another crippling problem. I hope you get its fixed up quickly.

I have had this happen a few random times on mine with the column shifter. Usually happens when I try to shift it too quickly after pressing the brake. I end up having to release the pedal and press it again wait 2-3 seconds then the truck will shift out of park. I have a feeling it's more to do with Ford not using a simple plunger style switch on the brake pedal vs the now overly complicated method of the ABS module sensing brake pedal travel and triggering the shifter lock release. Typical Ford engineers, designing a solution for a problem that didn't exist...

Some 2021-2025 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a stuck in park condition with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This may be due to connector C211 pin push out on circuit CCB61 or an open on circuit CCB61 between the antilock brake system (ABS) module and the body control module (BCM). Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-05 Automatic Transmission External Controls > Diagnosis and Testing > External Controls - Pinpoint Test for "Stuck In Park" has been updated with improved diagnostics. Refer to revised WSM sections for normal diagnosis.

'22 F150 Limited in Star White.
I've had a couple issues where the shifter and transmission didn't match up. Just last night I went from drive to reverse to back onto a spot and it ended up in neutral. I went back through the motion and it worked. It's only happened a few times. Not sure how this shifter made it past quality. I don't even attempt lowering it because I'm afraid it won't come back up lol.
