2022 keyless entry pad flashing randomly

Wish I saw this while my truck was still under warranty. Mine has never lit up at all. I just assumed that there were no lights in the keypad. It does lock/unlock so I guess it could be worse

Just had that update occur about a week ago. The verbiage doesn’t seem to indicate that it’s specific to the keypad, unless I missed something. Mine is an intermittent issue, so time will tell. At any rate, I think it’s more to do with a fuse or some other physical electrical-related component(s). I’ll keep watching this thread.

How far are you behind on OTA updates? what the last update that you received and installed successfully OTA?

The keyless entry keypad light was flashing on my 2022 platinum powerboost until I got update "23-PU1009-SS-NS" and then I noticed that my keyless entry keypad light stopped flashing and is still not flashing. Update installed in January 2024

I walk out of my house in the morning and my keypad is lit up and blinking. Ford replaced with a new keypad and it is still doing the same thing. My keys are 100 feet away. No one has tried to get into my truck. My battery is fully charged. I can still use my code to lock/unlock the door. Whenever there is light dew or any rain it will act up bad then for days. There is no water that seems to be getting into the pad or door. Is anyones keypad lighting up and having this issue? Ill look out my window at night to see it flashing randomly and constantly lit up.

mine is acting similarly. Dimly lit but flickering. Has been dry all day but still doing it. Figured it did it yesterday because it rained but I think this is a little different based on how it’s behaving.

No, unfortunately I didn’t. It eventually stopped flickering, I assume after things dried out and reset. It’s a lower priority item, since I rarely use it. I have the electrical add-on for my extended warranty so I’m sure at some point it will be addressed and I can follow up.
