Just sent me to one of the secretaries who emailed back. I've talked on phone twice. They act clueless too which is no wonder this process is shit. Maybe chips next week. I'm about to go through and figure up every similar powerboost that was built before mine and call them out. Hell one truck my dealership ordered end of July and is scheduled this week...wtf?

I guess I’m lucky that I don’t need mine. I’ve already canceled my camper order so if I don’t get the price quoted me and the 0% interest rate then they can keep it. I’ll just wait until they get the removed items back and then order again.

Not sure how many have seen this. Appears that there is not much time left to get our trucks built. Mine is supposed to be built in Dearborn according to the window sticker. Talked to my dealership this morning they indeed confirmed they will stop building MY2022 in early October. So I ordered a MY2023 this morning hoping if I get balanced out I will be a bit further up the list and maybe get a 2023 by Jan 1 2023???? Been a long 188 day wait so far but who is actually counting days at this point. Crappy part is my truck needs tires before winter.

I thought once you got a VIN that it would definitely be built just as the sticker shows. Mine started the build process a few weeks ago but as of today they are saying it is on chip hold and should be completed the last week in September. According to the build tracker Ford has 673 F150's with the 'In Production' status.

Where did you get the information that yours is on chip hold? Mine has been in production since 8-15 with the only correspondence I have received is that it is not actually in production even though it says it is.

Mine had a blend date of 8/20. I've been chatting with someone at ford.com about every week and they have denied a chip hold until today. Last week they said it was just being built but not on hold... which isn't true because they build them in a day. Have you checked to see if the modules have been populated?

hmm... They sure have lots of trucks to finish in the next 2 weeks... order tracker has the count at 675. I hope they get it done. Mine had a build date a few days after yours.

If your truck is built and on chip hold, it's not going to turn into a 2023. 675 trucks in production is peanuts in comparison to the 3,000+ they can product in a 24hr period.
Hoping that accepting a shipment of parts (chips or otherwise) and sending a small army of Ford factory workers to gather 650 trucks to put in a couple of missing parts isn't a two week ordeal!
Ya never know though!

Yes, but when will the missing parts arrive? Will they prioritize getting those done and shipped or starting up MY23? They denied mine being on hold for missing parts for 3 weeks but all of a sudden this week they say it is on chip hold.

On the VVR (Vehicle Visibility Report) the dealer sent me, it shows what the "disposition ETA" is. My interpretation is "ETA to get out of the current status".
Current status is "micro-chip hold at plant" with a disposition ETA of Sept 17 - Sept 23.
I'm not saying I'm correct - that's my interpretation
