I didn't have anything "special" I'm assuming on mine that would've held it up. Not sure why you guys would be held up. I was told by the owner of the dealership he would put a priority on it if it gets in production. Priority code 12 at beginning, then went to a 2 when it was scheduled.

I wonder if part of my problem is that mine will be a 157" wheelbase. I guess I am assuming yours is a 145". It appears in my area anyway the 145" outsells the 157" about 20+ to 1.

I was told by my dealer that the remaining ‘22 trucks that are being built are all 3.5 PB engines. Everything else will be converted to ‘23 if no VIN received yet

Don't get to excited I have had a VIN since 7/10 window sticker on 8/18 with a build date of 8/25 on it.. Got a notification that I would be in production week of 8/15. Timeline changed to in production on 8/26 where it is still at. Then today I got this so.... I think it is a matter of time before some of us get balanced out. Then we can get back in line for a 2023 and wait again and pay more.

Not so sure you are correct. This is the first of this email I have received. My truck or at least my order has been in production stage since 8/15 never changed to built or chip hold. Also been waiting since March 10th. So if yours is built already ordered May 13th then allow me to be skeptical especially knowing that others have been balanced out.

It took at least 2 weeks to receive notification of chip hold. If it’s sitting in production it’s most likely a chip hold. Their communication is slow. Yours is probably built and sitting with all of our trucks on hold

That is what I figured but Ford denies it is on hold for anything. I was told today that it should be complete next week. We will see...

They wouldn't admit to a chip hold for me for at least 2 weeks after blend date. It was obvious though following it so closely. They can sure send a bump email on time though. Been worst buying processes I've ever had. I've emailed executives about it also but they just pass it on to a secretary. Not like you get anywhere.
