2022 Delayed 4-5 shift when cold

Anyone else have this going on ? And no it wont learn since its doing it when its cold and adaptive dont take over till trans is around 170 .

If it's done this since putting at least 500 to 1K miles on it try resetting the transmission shift tables with Forscan. It'll take about 250-500 miles to re-learn your driving habits. If that doesn't resolve it take it to the dealer and have them check the transmission fluid level. Ford has had issues with underfilling the 10r80 by as much as 2.5 qts from the factory. My 2020 Ranger had similar issues along with various other odd shift behaviors until I had it checked and topped off. Turned out it was right at 2 qts low from the factory. After that and resetting the tables again it was an entirely different transmission.

Do you know how many quarts the transmission is supposed to have? You say you were 2qts low…from the factory. What should it be? Wondering if this could be contributing to some issues I’ve been having for the past 3 weeks.
