OK, WHAT'S GOING ON.....
MY 2021 FORD F-150 PLATINUM WILL NOT RECOGNIZE MY "KEY FOB" WHEN I WALK UP TO IT.....THE RUNNING BOARDS ARE SUPPOSE TO DEPLOY, AND MY LIGHTS ARE SUPPOSE TO COME ON......THE BATTERY IS GOOD IN THE KEY FOB, SO THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM.......ALSO, MY DOME LIGHTS WILL NOT COME ON AND STAY ON AT NIGHT WHEN I OPEN THE DOORS.......HELP!.....
I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING IN THE MANUAL TO CORRECT THESE ISSUES.....
THANKS...

I think its your trucks battery going low. The truck goes into sleep mode to preserve battery life. The first things that the truck shuts down is approach detection (running boards/lights) and interior lights. Check your Ford app perhaps for a status message.

Mine is at the dealer as we speak to check the battery. FYI - you can trickle charge it and the features will return, but who should have to do that on a new truck?

Bad batteries are known issues with these. I'd take it back in and have them replace it. The dealer said they've had bad batteries come in on new trucks from the factory.

FYI - the truck enters "Sleep Mode" and these are the features that stop working.

You definitely need a new truck battery. My 2021 Platinum did the same thing and even had to jump start it one morning.
