I switched mine to day and snapped a very crappy shot of the unreal engine. Obviously I am not running the climate bar (too redundant for me) so no home button or revised layout, but yours seems to have the same shading around the buttons. The unreal really shines more in night mode unfortunately.

Agreed. Cool figuring it out but honestly kinda silly when all of the buttons are just below. I reverted all of mine back to just the unreal engine.

Maybe I’m not asking the right question… what do you see when you press the card circled in red?

it gives me the selection to turn off display which then displays a clock
the old one would let you select a screen background of sorts in different blue grays
i want to be able to pop a personal picture in there somehow

yup
waiting on the rain to let up so i can swim out to truck
1.38 has fallen in 3 hrs..ground is sucking it up like a sponge

ok ran out, its dark under the parking spot so the truck thinks it needs lights on and even with turning off headlights, the dashed stayed in the NIGHT darker screen setting, unless i toggled it to be not in auto.

pic 1 is just pic showing the 1st screen
pic 2 is settings screen
pic 3 is display setting after i pressed display in pic 2, .......once you press CALM screen
pic 4 is the result.
no other backgrounds are select able
if you press the screen anywhere it takes you back to pic 3
and it take it out of auto the screen only lightens like earlier and all the rest stay and perform the same

Looks like everyone else's except you dont have the (display off) enabled. I like the dark theme so i set mine to Dark instead of auto under the mode setting.

7D0-02-01 xxx*-xxxx-xx-- I assume you should have a 6 here for your Display off.

if i press the display button circled here on the physical button the screen goes OFF completely
must be a disconnect in the system somewhere.
i find the physical button a quick OFF when i need it
yes in my files i have the 6 in the spot indicated.
i will double check with forscan tomorrow after the rain stops

Right. I would just look at that value in the apim. Does the same as the physical button but weird that it’s not enabled there.

I enabled the unreal theme, but the heat/cooled seats, heated steering, and oil life wouldn’t show up after doing the coding for each.

did you reset the APIM in the forscan wrench menu?

Okay disabled ambient lighting Pantone, reset module still black.

Also noticed I’ve got 7 hidden DTCs, this should be fun to troubleshoot…

Mycolor isnt ambient lighting. Check at 7D0-09-03 xxx-*xxx-xx-- Should be a 0
