Congrats on your new ride.
1: Ride Comfort. That's pretty obvious difference unladen with the Ram bettering the Ford. That's coil springs for you. But I bet the factory tire pressures are still there. Dropping that down to 35 makes a difference. Throwing a camper on the rear and loading up the truck makes a difference.
2: Seats; Driving the Ram laramie just as Covid struck convinced me going to a first truck made sense. They are very comfy seats in the XLT to. Best we've ever had.
So why didn't I get a Ram? It would have cost 75k or 25% more than my XLT to get a ram with all the adaptive cruise etc that I wanted. You do close to 1000 miles in a day, you need every tool available to do it safely
