Truck looks good. New wheels will make a big difference.

I've got Velgen VTF9s in 24x10 ready to go on when I get the truck. I'm still deciding on the lowering kit I will use. I might go with the Shelby kit.

Lowering this truck turned out to have a few more surprises than we first expected, that's for sure.

Truck looks great! have been considering lowering mine as well, and am like you in thinking that 2/4 is the ideal drop.

How do you find the ride compared to stock?

It's actually really good. Once the proper rear shocks go on next week, should be even better.

Might have my 24s next week and the catback installed. My build would be pretty much complete at that point with the exception of some minor details.

truck looks really nice.
Well, no luck getting it done. Found out the headlight adjustment sensor is in the back frame and no longer can mount due to height. Not able to delete it either.
After some research, found a company that made a relocate bracket and it comes in Monday. I SHOULD be getting the truck right and ready this coming week.

Just ordered a Corsa black tip side exit catback to make me feel better for now, which has a 4 week lead time.....boo.
I have a 22 xlt. Is this sensor on all trims? This is the first time me hearing about this issue. I have read some other threads about lowering and no one has mentioned this.

I know this is an old post , did you get any driveline vibrations ? What size shim you running ? I am planning on removing the raise hanger on my truck , I want it to sit lower in the rear..
Decided to pull off the side steps and I do prefer the look, thanks for the suggestion.

Now I am just figuring out what 24s to go with, have it narrowed down to a few.
