Problem solved, thanks fellas. Clearly I'm a noob. I must've just been standing too close to the tailgate and didn't realize there is a sensor that won't allow it to open in too close proximity of something it could hit upon lowering.

You're a noob? Hah - I went to get gas today and had to google "where is my fuel door release?" The guy behind me, went "Great - this idiot can't figure out how to get gas" and went to another line.

It's near the headlight switch along with 50 other switches in case anyone was curious.

Towed for the 1st time today, power and torque was amazing. Handled the weight so much better than my '01 F150 5.4L. Set up pro trailer assist but truck naturally backs easily without it. Easy to add the sticker and set it up. You will need an open parking lot to calibate it. 70 and mild winds was a great day on the water.

Delivered to dealer this morning. Planning on picking it up on Monday! Amount of surface rust on differential seems to be fine.

Didn't use trailer assist much, but felt it could really help anyone not experienced at backing a trailer. With the dial steer the trailer where you want it going and then when you let off the dial input it lines up the truck to the trailer's direction. Dial is very sensitive. In general it works nice. After playing with it a minute, I turned it off and backed the boat in old style. Cameras are nice, especially hooking up to a trailer. I have regular mirrors and have a great view. I also removed headrests from the back row seats to help my view, there are 2 buttons on each to remove.

Finally some pics. I just spent the past 3 hours cleaning it all up and I also applied Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic spray. Came out pretty good. The color is Smoked Quartz. I love that color. My other F150 is also SQ. Looks black in these pics though.

So we just have @Mast2Beam to pick his up on Valentines and @Landon45 to get his bumper and we'll be complete for the week.

Body shop is just waiting for parts for the new bumper. Hopefully early next week!

Just wanted to follow up. It’s been about 3 weeks with the truck. Very satisfied with it. I just got back from a road trip and it now has just over 2000 miles. Thank y’all for sharing the experiences.

Picked up today! Wasn’t expecting a 400W outlet in the bed and the inverter under the rear seat. Guess it’s included with 302A. ?‍

Getting a repeated ground fault error message from pro power onboard following a cold weekend (~10 degrees all weekend) sitting outside at my in-laws. Resetting with the switch at the plug and via the sync screen doesn't seem to do anything. Circuit A previously worked for me (charged some stuff inside the cab) but I can't remember ever using circuit B.

Going to try to get to the dealership this week or next, but that's such a pain. Anyone else run into this at all?
