United shows delivery this morning, still waiting to hear from Chapman. Aiming to drive up to pick it up on Saturday.

Geez, 12/15 build date and 1/18 ship date? I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting weeks to get shipped (I'm also using Chapman). Makes me feel like I might eventually get it! Hope they prep it quick for you.

Dealer texted me that my truck finally arrived but now it is at the body shop for a new front bumper. They said it looked like it did not get tied down properly and the front bumper got all screwed up so they are having it replaced. Ughhhh

I tried searching the trucking sites and found no hits. Strangely on searching that VIN, I found a cached page (live page did not pull it up). The page was back on 12/11 and must be used by a 3rd party site to sell cars:

There was a trick to go to the United site on your phone, enter the VIN and then set up an email account. It did not work for me, but worked for others.

Finally - if your sales rep is halfway decent, he/she can print you the location information from their Vehicle Visibility Report. (And I know the odds aren't good for that it seems from other posts on here.)

She is finally here it is amazing, the only catch was I couldn’t take it home yet. Still needed to be detailed and written up. I should be able to drive it tomorrow.

Koons Ford in Falls Church? My parents bought their '71 Torino 500 from them. It turned out to be my first car. Best part of that car is it was 351 Cleveland powered!

Koons in Woodbridge - new dealership take over - I actually bought remotely from TN - go figure.

Torino? I personally liked the Chevelle's of that era, but the Torino's were sharp looking! About 30 years back I had a pea green 4 door 71 Chevelle. It had the Green Hornet smoke screen option (when you hit the gas). It would put today's diesel coal rollers to shame!

Chapman can neither confirm nor deny that they've received my truck - looks they are still going through deliveries to sort out whats there - nor do they think they can fit me in this weekend as they are all booked up.. so the wait continues

Sorry to hear - hopefully they don't get hit with the snow/ice storm and you can get up soon to get it.

Well @#$%. Alllll the way there and BAM! I am getting tired of saying "Really sorry to hear", but it is true, I am sorry to hear. Here's hoping that they can get a replacement quickly.

I've only got about 400 miles on it, but I love this truck! Just picked up a tonneau cover and looking to get LineX in the bed and maybe underbody within the next month.

I don't know, a non-OEM bumper might keep some of that VA traffic away from you.

I'm not sure yet either. I'm thinking the LineX underbody/rustproofing. There are a lot of videos on YouTube about not using those coatings underneath, but every "car guy" I've talked to says put it on a brand new vehicle.

Thanks! Agreed, first thing I did was wash and wax it and then I just wanted to keep it in the garage.

FordPass shows a gray Lightning for me. It appears my "connected charging station" button has been removed though - which makes sense. I don't see a towing tab on mine. (Might be looking in the wrong location.)

Ford.com shows my truck (color & model is correct) but has no instructional videos.

I had a heated steering wheel when I started the truck this AM and thought the same thing - pretty cool (umm.. neat). I've yet to activate the blue cruise. I could find no generic instructions for it on my ford.com. (Other than a few seconds within another non-specific instructional video.)

I'll be interested to see what the MPG is like for me. I may get a WIFI extension cord (remote timed on/off) and try out the engine block heater and see how it works in cold weather and for MPG. Mud Flaps are now shipped - so looking forward to getting those on.

If you turn on your cruise and activate lane centering then it will kick on Bluecruise automatically if you are on a road that allows it, mostly just interstate. I am almost to 2K miles and my MPG continues to get better. MPG varying by what type of road i am on, right now 23.2 with powerboost on curvy state highway. Changed my oil at 1250 miles and oil was surprisingly dark.

Thanks...the more I check it out, the more I am convinced I am going to do something....just not 100% sure which way to go....like you said, the videos on youtube suggest not using those coatings....so still researching, Thanks
