The first time I saw the knob displays I thought they looked kinda old school with those 8 segment LED's that remind me of a calculator. Temp on the screen is more modern looking, more in the line of sight, and in a blank space that wasn't being used anyway. Plus, getting rid of the knob display probably saved a few chips that hopefully allow for quicker delivery! I know, some people just don't like the thought of losing something, but sometimes change is good.
After driving my new '22 last night. I admit the change is welcoming. I find it more pleasing on my eyes to have it at the line of sight. And it looks more humble on the climate control area. Definitely NO complaints from me here. And I am known to have major OCD about my toys. ;)

How did you find that out?
Emailed Chip at Granger and he told me the status.

I have the activate button on the FordPass app, and my blend date was 12/08, and havent had any movement since then...

Aannnddd my MY21 is now on chip hold per Granger.

*le sigh*
I don’t understand why they’re holding customer ordered trucks. You would think they would be the highest priority over dealer lot orders.

Just doesn’t make sense to me why a truck that is a customer order gets held in a lot while trucks are getting shipped just to go sit in dealer inventory somewhere.

Hey, my truck has only been on order since July, and I have had a VIN since early August.

So it makes sense that dealer stock MY22 trucks ordered in November would get built and delivered before mine.

Excellent. Excellent.

I asked about escalating and Granger told me no, so I found a zone manager with ford in the KC area and messaged him on LinkedIN. Maybe this zone manager can help.

I’m right there with you, my truck is sitting in a big lot at the Kansas NASCAR Speedway

Dang that's really unfortunate. Did you have a highly optioned build or anything crazy?
502a, fx4, spray in bed liner, wheel well liners, work station, 2kw, max tow, sport, pano sunroof, 3.5l, tonneau cover, 6.5' bed.

A few things in there may slow it down...but I mean...cmon, Ford created the VIN in early August.
