When I ordered my truck, I wasn't sure if the 2.7 was the right decision, but now that I have it I don't regret it for 1 second. For back & forth to work 5 miles each way, max speed limit of 35 with several lights and roundabouts, I'm averaging 20-22 mpg, maybe 1 or 2 worse in winter - can't...
Seems odd, but this is correct, and if you move up to the 502A you LOSE the front sensors that are on the 402, 500, and 501 21's, unless you get BlueCruise - which is why I ordered a 501A. The order guide even mentions that the 502a's don't get the front sensors. However, even though the 22...
I'll be using this for a bed light - rechargeable and removeable - got one free at a race last summer, didn't think I'd need it because the Lariat's had them built in - glad I kept it...
another thing I didn't see mention of anywhere, was that white lettered tires are no longer available in any trim level or option package. I'm good with that, white letters seem a little old school, and look like crap if you ever bump a curb. BSW look better for black or grayed out packages...
Looks like they're working on that, the last comment in the questions says to check back soon. Wonder what really changed in July - trucks built before that date don't have headlights that the IIHS recommends.
Ford really makes it a lot more complicated than it needs to be, there a lot of "little" things that you can easily miss even if you spend $80,000. Like with work surface, seems silly for the shifter to fold down if you don't have that option, but I think that's an under $200 option on all trim...
Bed lighting kit (OEM look, but works with puddle lamp circuit vs switch) $109 https://www.starkey-products.com/Ford-F150-OEM-Style-Bed-Lighting-Kit-2021-2022

To tow 12,000# you probably need a tow package, all three include the trailer brake, and I think the brake controller is available as a separate item if you don't want a package. W/o a trailer package, you're limited to 7K on the receiver hitch (6k w/2.7) - depending on model, wb, engine, etc...
I ordered a set of floor mats from Lasfit, and they threw in a random set of LED bulbs. Turns out, they're the right size for the license plate, so I'm set! Wonder if they knew this was coming....

comment from someone with a 2022 502A surprised he has the sensors

I know, it doesn't agree with the order guide, but the truck in the vid as well as in the 11/29 build week forum who posted pics of their 22's have them. They only have the sensors in the front of the bumpers, the ones with adaptive have them on the side of the bumpers also. I might have put...
I hope not, my 501A Lariat is due any day now, I'll let you know if I get the bed lights. I couldn't find any mention of bed lights in the 22 order guide, but NadaGuides has the 22 pricing, and LED box lights are not listed in the Bed Utility Package (BUP) there, hopefully that's a good sign...
Not sure if "signing the price sheet" is considered an "order" - like a signed contract. ??? On previous vehicles, I've had a vehicle ordered for me w/o signing anything, but I signed a contract this time, so my vehicle is locked in to me.
I like the two tone effect, better than the boring black that 90% of vehicles seem to have, and like others said, online pics scared me until I saw it in person, thought it was pretty cool. If you don't get the sport, you get a cheesy gray burlap printed vinyl on the doors instead of the...
