Yeah the thing to watch for is water right at the bottom edge of the interior door panel after rain or a wash.

Good News - Bad News

Good News my truck arrived at my dealer this afternoon!

Bad News - due to transportation damage the aluminum skin on rear drivers door will have to be replaced and painted. They are calling me tomorrow to see how long for the part to arrive. Really hope there is not a supply issue on this - they seem to be concerned about it too....

They are getting it inspected and cleaned up tomorrow so I can at least test drive it. I'll post pictures after.

Tints were done on Saturday but lack of sunshine stopped any photo op. 45% on the front, 15% everywhere else. Had the tint guy remove the Sport decal.

Boy am i glad that I ordered my truck when i did. I just used the build and price tool to build the same truck I have and the MSRP is just shy of $2,000 more than what my MSRP was. I knew that there was a price hike mid to late December but did Ford increase pricing again and not release a statement saying so?

I went on there and built mine also. It was a total increase of $1130 I believe. $250 of it was a discount for the co pilot assist that was gone. The rest was an increase in the base price.

They just released more price increases starting Feb 15th.

EFFECTIVE DATE
Dealer Invoice changes will be effective February 15, 2022.

PRICE PROTECTION
2022 model units invoiced prior to February 15, 2022 will not be re-invoiced.

Automatic price protection will be provided on:
Firm 2022-model fleet, retail, and demonstrator orders signed and dated on or before February14, 2022, and received by Ford Motor Company on or before February 18, 2022.
Fleet CPA or GPC orders will continue to be price protected to the individual customer’s contract agreement or bid date.

Increase Lariat series prices $1,500 MSRP
Increase King Ranch series prices $1,500 MSRP

Finally got around to taking a couple of pictures. I’ve tinted windows, installed bed cover from my last truck, ocdplug matte finish screen protector, led license plate lights, and just had a set of 275/60R20 BFG KO2’s installed. I’m done for now except maybe a tailgate mat from weather tech…1500 miles so far and I’m pleased with especially after seeing these price increases and paying x plan minus $1,000 rebate for mine.

I've seen many conflicting opinions...

Does anyone know what the sensor/camera is on the black box behind the rear view mirror facing the driver? Some say camera, some say alarm sensor. I'm not convinced that it's either.

I'm pretty sure the "cameras" are only on trucks with the active prep/blue cruise stuff and I don't think my XLT would have the internal alarm either. I can't find the settings for it if it does???

Driving me crazy not knowing for sure exactly what this thing is!

Man that has to be disheartning. Its a new truck and I always fear of something like that happening. Good luck hope oit turns out well for you

It’s all worked out. Not going to need a new door after all. Body shop fixed it perfectly and closed deal today. Very happy with the smoked quartz color!

Oh man ! I had a Roush CAI on my 2020 f150 5.0 sounded awsome when you got down on it. Sounded like old school 4 barrel carb. I took it off of my 2020 when I sold it but prob wont put in on new truck.
