I agree...I feel like it has a little more depth to it than the magnetic gray did. I like being able to see a reflection in the paint when it's nice and clean. Good choice in career too! I'm an electrical/controls and automation engineer. Been a great choice for me as i feel like job security in that field is endless although it's about as hard to get some components from Allen Bradley as it is to get an F150 delivered from Ford! LOL
Nice! Yeah definitely good job security. I get offers everyday on linkedin lol. I've been with my company for nearly 25 years now though so I don't plan on going anywhere. Started in maintenance then got into controls. Been doing strictly controls/automation now for about nine years.

Well not long after I posted here, the truck showed up to my dealer! Palsapp never said "dispatched" though, and in fact has even now reverted to having missing destination fields. Go figure.

I can't believe this pretty thang is finally here now though! Absolutely love it!
Congratulations! She looks awesome, enjoy the new ride. :)

Well same crap different truck...

My door panels are leaking just like my 2020 did. I had it at the dealer several times before it was properly fixed. Guess I'll get with my dealer today. Any of y'all had this issue?

Anyone looking for mods be sure to hit up Frank from @Stage3Motorsports . I just got a pretty sweet deal on a BAK Revolver X4S tonneau cover and a Roush CAI.

Truck still sitting in KC. Vacation starts in 13 days. 0 chance I’ll have it by then. Just another let down by ford and the dealer.

What door is this? I noticed my front passenger needs a little extra oomph to close all the way. We had a little rain last night so this post had me sitting in the driveway at 11:30pm checking all the seals, luckily nothing leaking so far.

I have two leaking on this truck so far. It’s from water that gets in by the window seal (which is normal). There is a plastic sheet inside the door that don’t get sealed properly which lets the water into the door panel instead of finding it’s way to the drains at the bottom of the door.

This and the AC drain water issue were two of the main reasons I traded my 20 and ordered this 22.

2022, Agate Black XLT, SCREW, 302 High, 4X2, 2,7L, tow package, upgraded B&O sound system, Panoramic Sunroof, Onboard 400W, Power pedals, tailgate step & work surface.

Picked her up at 6:00pm, the fusses under the hood needed the extra push and one of the license plate bulbs were out. Luckily I had the Sylvania LEDs to swap them out which confirmed nothing major on that. We noticed once we got home that the front passenger side door needed a little extra oomph to close all the way. Because it was at night the dealer is giving me 2 weeks to give her a firm viewing for anything that needs to be fixed.

The dealer installed spray in liner (TOFF) was really impressive, I had planned on getting a Line X Premium but couldn’t pass up the free offer due to them missing the food flat work surface on my build. Highly recommended if you can get a sweet offer from your dealer. Dealer installed well wheel liners (Ford OEM) are solid as well.

They did inform me that starting on the 2021’s some F150’s are getting a alert that the back up assist is not available when it is clearly on and will not engage. I haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere else but he showed me the issue on 2 other trucks and 3 other ones were perfectly fine. So interested in hearing if anyone else sees this.

First impressions are just WOW. Not sure if it’s because this is the first BRAND NEW car (and first truck for that matter) Ive ever owned but man this thing is impressive. I kinda doubted myself for getting the 2.7 over the 3.5 (37 mile trip to work one way so MPG was primary concern) but man this thing is no slouch. All the extra tech makes me wonder what I’m missing out on in the Lariet ?, from the seatbelt monitor to the Turbo PSI gauge I was left over impressed with my purchase. The B&O upgrade was definitely worth it, although the inner audiophile in me said meh, it will definitely be just fine for my daily driver and worth the extra coin. Twin panel has no leaks from rain and wind noise was a minimum. Speaking of, man is this thing quite, I didn’t realize I was doing 90mph as me and the wife discussed how comfortable, quite and smooth the ride was. Bonus points from her as well because she LOVES her new seat.

This morning I installed the box cleats, I found it easier to unscrew the mount from the bed, instal the cleat and then screw the mount back on. Slapped in the Weathertech HP floor liners, stubby antenna and screen projector on the radio. Currently sitting at the tiny shop waiting on the Xpel ceramic tints to be completed. 45% on the windshield, 30 on the fronts and dropping the back doors and rear to 15%. I’ll post pics once completed.

Very thankful for this forum and the camaraderie we all have shared. Hang in there everyone still waiting, as many have said….. it will be worth the wait.

Thanks, I’ll keep my eyes on this.
