yeah probably made out of a different material.Its definately not a good spot for that to be.Looks way too fragile to be in the knee or Especially the passengers that feel the need to cross their legs in that area. Guess I'm too anal-istic about my vechicles. But youve got to admit, a mans truck is sacred to him!

I felt the same way when I inspected it. Seems like someone will kick through it pretty easy moving around over there.

I def agree. I’m way too picky about my truck but it is what it is!

Hope you are all enjoying your new trucks! I certainly am. Been relatively quiet in here the past few days...

Not being picky, just picking y’all’s brains lol.

1. About an inch of play in shifter when up and in park?
2. No cell phone mount/holder for the front compartment?
3. B&O upgrade thoughts? Rear speakers quiet?
4. Automatic car wash opinions (2X back surgery veteran here)?
5. Love the xlt sport seats. Probably the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had. I have noticed though that the driver’s seat bottom is different/looser than the passenger seat. If you lift up on the front edge corners on each you will see what I mean. Also on the passenger side you can see white foam underneath and not on the driver’s??? Maybe mine is missing something?
6. Thinking about the moonroof maintenance. I've seen videos on youtube etc about it but does Ford recommend any maintenance? I didn't see much in the manual.

I have an XLT reg cab swb,Ihave a weather tech phone holder in one of my cupholders,I have heard complaints about the speakers in the headrest no working but FORD says they are for surround sound only and wont have a high volume. My seats seem tobe fine but what really bugs me is the tops of the doors outside look as if they are sticking out at the top. The painted parts aligns pretty well but the black moulding thats on the edge of the door sticks out a little beyond the black moulding on the cab.....so I cant call anyone picky. If I were to use an automatic car wash,I'd use the laser wash above the brush type washes,especially with a darker color. I detail cars/trucks in my spare time and Ive seen so many with micro scratches on NEW vechicles. On the sunroof deal I dont know of any maintenace other than maybe trying to lube the tracks if its a retractable sunroof. If not in the past I have opened the sunroof and treated the rubber seal around it with wd-40 of clear silicone lube to keep it pliable. I'm not a proffessional ,but these are my opinions.Also THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNRTY! I salute you

Politics is the main reason for supply chain issues thus a delay in your delivery! I ordered my truck on August 27th 2021 and finally got it on Dec 28th 2021. I think the weather in Dearborn may have some affect on that also. Good luck and enjoy your truck when you get it

Same, mine was built 12-10-21 and shipped like two weeks ago. Keeps pushing off estimated delivery date.

I'm scratching my head. My ETA is feb 21. My friends dad ordered a loaded 2022 and has a Feb 2022 delivery........it just doesn't make sense.

@snopro31 & @ThinblueF-150 - hang in there and don't drop your orders without more info when you've waited this long. Try to get a copy of the vehicle visibility report from the dealer. Contact Ford Marketing - see if you can talk to a manager. One user found the regional ford rep on linked in and messaged them for assistance.

I know this is nowhere near your delays, but mine sat for 2 weeks in a MD rail yard before being delivered in a day to the dealer (yesterday). Another user who had theirs built 5 days before mine, and shipped to the same rail yard, is still waiting for theirs to be delivered (their ETA was 1/8). Logically, theirs should have been delivered ten days ago or ten days prior to mine (Looking at ETAs).

Ford Marketing was USELESS. Said it was a dealer issue. Dealer doesn't build the truck.....your company does.
