I told everyone I didn’t want anything because I was getting a truck. That turned out great…

Also, dealer just gave me an update, no change. He warned me that if it doesn’t ship by the 23rd Ford shuts down for the holidays. Not sure how long that is but additional delays on a truck that’s just waiting to ship is depressing.

Holidays means between Christmas and New Year's Day.

I’ve got a build date of January 3, so about a week and a bit.

Got a short antenna and Dura dressing coat and no truck to use it on lol

Nothing much new on the list... My dealer is making it sound like it's going to be at least another week before they have mine in. Frustrating I was hoping to get it this week.

It’s bad enough they would have to repaint whole part. It looks like a blow of air from sprayer to make clearcoat warped. It actually showed a pink tint in the bump part. Paint is carbonized grey.

Dealer informed me this morning that ETA is now indicating Jan 1 - 7. 2022 Platinum built 12 -1 with original ETA of 12 - 20.

So this last leg of waiting from the rail transfer lot is by far the worst. It been there since Friday so going on day 4. If only we could pick our trucks up from those lots ourselves! It’s 10 minutes from me! Fingers crossed it will be transported today!

Can’t imagine the day it arrives in person and the anxious feeling of hoping that there’s no issues with the truck aesthetically and performance wise
