Reading the article seems like hope.

Good News: According to the Detroit Free Press;


Ford is getting a new supply of semiconductor chips and will now ship thousands of F-Series pickup trucks built and parked in lots in states including Michigan, Kentucky and Missouri, the Free Press has learned. The company did not provide specific numbers of vehicles.
"We're working to get chips into F-Series pickups and get them out to dealers. That's our first priority," said Erich Merkle, U.S. sales analyst at Ford. "We'll see our inventories improve. It'll take time but stock will gradually start to improve the second half of the year."

it would be nice if Ford would indicate how many trucks are left in storage. We know some are making it out but doesn't seem like it would be hard for Ford to publish how many were completed and remaining each week to start repairing some of the damage they did to customers perception of them.

Good news, directionally.
But “2nd half of the year” is from Now to December 31 and of course includes the now infamous October 31 ETA.
A LITTLE more specificity from Ford would have been nice.

Yeah, that isn't how I read it, I read it as they would be working on park trucks and hoping dealer stock would increase second half of the year but yeah, I agree.

It will show up before posted dates, dealer called me again today and said it will be at dealership next week after being shipped on the 29th. Today it shows it in Brampton on Canadian side so might be in it and driveing it home buy next Friday. Went from 10/31 to 07/31 to shipped 6/29 all this week.

I drive by a few of the storage lots weekly and the number of trucks on the lots is way down compared to a few months ago. If they keep production shut down and parts are available they should be able to clear all these lots in a few weeks.
