So in the US, there are dealers who are not honoring x-plan after the order arrives as Ford does not require them to honor it. When I ordered mine, I was told "this is the price contingent on what x plan pricing is" so I never had much more than a "gentleman's" agreement on price. Once the VIN was produced, then Ford told the dealer what x-plan was but still the dealer has the option of honoring that or not. They did, but there is a local dealer telling people they will not. So I don't know the legality of it or the difference here in the US and CA but I know there are some shady dealers.

If I placed an order, no money down, and no signed contract I could see where pricing changes by the time the truck arrives. If I put my $1000 deposit down, had a signed contract and that pricing changed, that would be some pretty shady shit and imagine would piss a lot of customers off.

So update on 4/26 Build week status. I had two builds this week a 4/28 blend and a 4/29 blend. Both were on chip hold and both had a 10/31 ETA. The 4/29 blend was "built" 6/9 and delivered to me 6/22. Today I have been told that the 4/28 blend has moved from "chip hold" to "plant status". Dealer believes this means it has been put back into the plant for the chips to be put in. Anyway, they are working on them so it is good news.

My Dec 28 order with a blend date of 3/18, build date 3/20, sitting waiting for chips, Ford motor Company, find my truck and finish it please and ship It, if you can find it. or let me order a new truck with high priority. 1FTFW1E80MFB21420

Should have been able to see the Xplan price the day the order was put into the system. I got my Xplan printout right there has soon as the dealer put in what I told them I wanted.

That's the date that all of your parts enter the line to go down the assembly line.

Ford production impacted
The Dearborn Truck Plant, which builds the bestselling Ford F-150, was down on Saturday as a result of extreme flooding in the area, Kelli Felker, Ford global manufacturing and labor communications manager, told the Free Press. "They are still shipping but employees had trouble getting in due to the flooded area."
