Shipped this morning to Granger; estimate is still 3/3-3/9. We'll see I guess, but at least it's begun the last leg:

Passed through Fort Wayne hub this morning and across state lines into Illinois sound 3 pm today on the way to KC before catching a truck to Granger. It’s odd, Ford modified the delivery date range from 3/3-3/9 to 2/28-3/13. Extended at both ends. Not sure I’ve seen that before.

Really? Interesting. Possible I guess as long as it doesn’t sit around in KC like so many others.

Ya once mine was on the train it wasn’t bad. It was at the dealer on 2/2, shipped 1/23. Once it shipped it wasn’t too long.

Just arrived at the Norfolk Southern Voltz shipping yard in KC @ 14:30. One more stop to go!

I haven't chatted with Ford, For me it's an assumption that I'm stuck on chip hold. But I may chat with them this coming week and see what I learn. It will be have been "In production" for five full weeks as of this coming Tuesday.

Update Monday 2/13, as expected, per ford chat it’s in production micro chip hold!
Hope you've had better luck @Evrithil I'm still on micro chip hold. Started week seven of "In production" IE micro chip hold land this morning.

Nope... no news here...

I have X-plan pricing on this truck and that's really the only reason I keep waiting. If it weren't for that, I'd cancel and find something somewhere else. I am beyond fed up with this wait.

In fact, I've been doing a nation-wide search for a truck that's spec'd like mine and I've found some, but they're all >1000 miles away, and dealerships have been weird about talking to an out-of-state customer. One truck sold off the lot, another dealership told me they got broken into and the truck I was interested in was stolen along with a bunch of other vehicles.

Furthermore, It's beginning to be hard to find trucks that don't have the CHMSL camera deletes. This would also pose a problem if I decided to try and go the Granger route and begin a new order. I just can't stomach another delete.

What REALLY makes me mad is pulling window stickers for trucks I'm interested in and seeing that their blend date is after mine, but yet they're on the lot ready to be sold. I saw one over the weekend with a blend date of 2/7/23. On the lot. For sale. And here I am still on chip hold. ???

I completely agree! It is a patience testing process with all sorts of variables that don't make any logical sense.

I also can't stomach any additional deletes which makes reorder an issue. and as finding one on a lot, I haven't searched much but I know my truck is a bit of an outlier just by being a SuperCrew with 6.5' bed than add trim level and other features I doubt I'd find many on the lot.

Out of curiosity do you just keep changing zip codes or use something other than the ford site to search inventory nation wide?

My current ride is due for annual state inspection by the end of March and getting close to needing a set of tires which would be a real kick in the pants considering I intend to sell / trade it when my truck arrives.

For search purposes I’m using cars.com and autotrader.com

Both sites allow you to set a range of “all miles” from a specified zip code. The ford website only goes 100 mile radius from zip code, which isn’t helpful.

Cars.com has good filters. I use it the most, but you should definitely check autotrader too.
Once I find a truck I’m interested in on those sites, I go to the dealerships website to make sure they have it listed. Then I pull up the window sticker to look at the option lists.
Finally, I call dealerships if I find something interesting.

I had a similar situation. I based my expected delivery timing so that I would not have to do those.
I missed the mark. Hopefully you have better luck.

Unless it's a glitch and Ford is making changes to their order tracking System again ... It looks like My truck has finally left micro chip hold and is built awaiting shipment. After 9 weeks "in production"
