Happy: mine did the same thing right before it shipped. I think it took two days then showed in transit. I hope that holds true for you.

Well I actually laid eyes on my truck today! I went into the dealer and did the paperwork. I’m pick the truck up on Friday. It shipped with temporary badges, but the service manager said the correct ones should be delivered tomorrow. I elected to wait for the truck until they are installed. I also had a PCO I didn’t know about for $1000 so that was a nice surprise. I did have to pay the Ford’s price increase of a little over a thousand dollars, but when Ford reimburses the dealership they will pass that on to me. I was going to pay cash, but they offered 0 percent for 36 months so I jumped all over that. It’s been a long process, but hopefully by Friday I can finally enjoy my new truck. My current 09 Lariat has 245k so I’m ready.

I took delivery of mine on October 29 and I still do not have the badges on the truck. If you wait to take delivery it could take a while. For now I will settle for the black covers where my badges should be.

I just had it confirmed that I'm sitting in a cup hold at ramp 51. Although my truck moved to a different place in the parking lot, it's no longer updating the location. It looks like my fun with the Ford pass is over... This is really frustrating as

I was hoping to get the temporaries also because I was planning to swap them out anyway. Did you get the Powerboost badge? I'm hoping that is missing as well.

I'm sorry to hear that. Besides Air2mag none of the other Platinums seem to be making much progress. My activation request hasn't changed since I made the request over a week ago.

I should update what has transpired in the last week. @Madscio was generous enough to provide me info on his truck that he is no longer purchasing, and I’m in the works of flying out to Woodbridge, VA to pick up the truck soon. My original order is still in chip hold hell. It is a Platinum very much like mine with a couple additions I originally wanted but didn’t order. Win win. CSX has unloaded the truck this morning, so it’s sitting in Annapolis JCT awaiting pickup to go to the dealer. Hoping to hear from them by Thursday or Friday, so I can make the trip out. If not, it’ll have to wait until after Xmas. Big shoutout to @Madscio though, after I get the truck back here I’m sending him a nice bottle of bourbon or two for helping me out.

Yeah it was kinda strange, it still shows awaiting shipping but I was able to snag the tracking for the rail car from my Ford Corp family member. Tracked it for a couple days, and it just offloaded this morning.

Oh, I forgot you ordered the 5.0. I’ve only heard it in videos and it does sound great. Everyone seems pretty happy with it.

It is official, I have a truck! It came with correct fender badges and powerboost emblems. So now I have to decide if I am going to pull the emblems off or not. 1900 miles on it now and impressed with all the features. Factory retrax tonneau cover installation was a little shoddy so got that all trued up.
