Final update, truck was shipped and delivered today, 11/23, 9 months to the day from date of order. Crazy ride but in the end it all worked out.

Great news! Hopefully the rest of us won't be far behind!I received the email message from Ford that my vehicle has been built on November 20, and received this email message today:
Although I'm sure there are many snags that it could still hit, this seems to be getting near the finish line. I'll believe it when I get contacted by Granger.

Really great to see you guys getting shipped. Most of you guys have been waiting longer than me. According to Ford pass I’m still sitting in Dearborn. The truck has moved from Ford road to Miller road. No miles have been added yet so I guess it’s just staging before it ships out. Ford revised my delivery window to 11/27. This is my fifth date so I don’t put much faith in it. I’ll be sure to let you guys know if pass shows any big movement or goes off line.

Will do. No call from the dealer today. I’m sure they don’t know I know the truck is there. It seems weird ford pass located my truck on I-94 then no updates until 12 hours later when it showed at the dealer. Believe me, I was checking every hour. I guess I don’t know how the vehicle location feature works. Anyway, I guess I’m lucky it was convoy all the way even though it took 53 to ship. Shipping only took 3 days once I cleared that hurdle.

Nice. I know it doesn’t speed things up, but it’s nice to know the location. For me it was also nice to see the truck was really built and Ford wasn’t just jerking my chain. Any updates on yours Patch?

You said it took 3 days from Shipping to dealer via Convoy. Where was your build and your dealer? Dearborn and Granger by chance?

Mine has had movement. I received the VVR this morning and it shows the pickup was at the railyard in Melvindale on November 22 and the ETA was moved in. However, the early ETA date has already passed, so I'm a little skeptical. Like you, I'm trying not to get my hopes up until I know for certain.

Well I actually laid eyes on my truck today! I went into the dealer and did the paperwork. I’m pick the truck up on Friday. It shipped with temporary badges, but the service manager said the correct ones should be delivered tomorrow. I elected to wait for the truck until they are installed. I also had a PCO I didn’t know about for $1000 so that was a nice surprise. I did have to pay the Ford’s price increase of a little over a thousand dollars, but when Ford reimburses the dealership they will pass that on to me. I was going to pay cash, but they offered 0 percent for 36 months so I jumped all over that. It’s been a long process, but hopefully by Friday I can finally enjoy my new truck. My current 09 Lariat has 245k so I’m ready.

F150: I ordered a Platinum so my build was Dearborn. My local dealer is in southern Indiana. I was lucky mine was convoy all the way. Ford pass showed it was roughly a 12 hour trip.
