Chatted with Ford. My WS says blend of 5/14 but ordertrack.app says 5/13, thought I'd shoot in the dark and see if maybe it was the earlier day. The sequence number is pretty high, 1603/1781. So I'm guessing it'll be very late in the day when it does get built.

Anyway, I was told my status is "in production," but no build date shows and no delivery ETA. I've also never had delivery info in my ordertrack.app. Not sure if this is all a "bad" sign, but it certainly makes me feel like things are very fluid. Best case scenario seems I'll get built late Saturday or early Sunday.

Another thing, I've been asking if any holds or commodity restrictions show, and today I got a response that the chat people no longer have access to that info. Not sure if anyone else has been told that. I've been holding off contacting the dealer until the truck is built (or if it lingers in production days past by blend date), but the chat guy directed me to the dealer for any specific requests.

Just sharing to compare and see if others have heard any of the same.

Apparently the window sticker is the accurate date, mine shows a day too early on the order track as well and others have said it’s not accurate

Go by the ws date for blend date, mine did the same thing

Its all good. You just happened to pick a very bad year to order your first new vehicle...

I have ordered 4 Fords before this. All went off smooth as silk, with vehicle in drive in 3 months.

This will pass eventually and get back to something close to normal.

I have been waiting on a part for my friends backhoe for 6 months. I wouldnt care much, but the wife is starting to give me the stink eye regarding the pipe and loads of gravel that have been sitting at the the end of my driveway since November.

She's is not as patient as most here. Lol.

OK, I'm fully into 'tracking mania' now ( ) .... just checked for the first time today and found an "Activate Vehicle" button in Ford Pass App.

Again, I'll take that as a sign of progress and keep hoping for the best.

Nope, not gonna touch that button 'till I'm sitting in my truck (call me "chicken", no worries)!

Looked today, I have the 754 modules, Ford pass app activate, but on the order track the status is listed as “on hold.” Is this the dreaded chip hold?


On a side note, went to Lake Erie with my dad this week. His 250,000 mile Chevy Colorado pulled the boat there. Can’t wait until it’s my truck pulling the boat!

Not sure on that, tracker app says it can be on hold for different reasons but there's no way to determine why. Mine still says ASN, but its rail not convoy.

Hmmmm, my build date was 5/10. Still no built email from Ford. Modules are in but the Ford Tracker and the Ordertrack site both just say in production. The vehicle status on Ordertrack is just empty.

Is there a date under "in production" on your Ford tracker timeline? Might not mean anything, byt my blend date was 5/11, and thats the only thing that has updated for me since getting the modules and activate button.

As status is fluid and can change, not sure how assuring this conversation was.

Partly a well trained hostage negotiator, "not that I can see".

Since I have no reason to doubt, I will assume all is well and can expect a mid June delivery. I will feel more confident with a tracker change or Ford email.

Well, that was much faster and easier than calling. I actually just got finished. The agent said, there are no constraints listed on his end, at least at the moment. I’ll take that as “cautiously optimistic“ news.
