Mine was built 5/9 and is on chip hold. Wiper motor modules. GREAT. You guys are all lucky that's for sure!
That sucks sorry you're on hold. Guess I have more to worry about...

I should note. I was a Dearborn build. Wonder if the ones shipping are from KC? I don't get how Dearborn would not have chips Monday night/Tuesday morning but then magically have them Tuesday afternoon/Wed Morning. ?

Just updated my VIN in the sheet - I may be screwing something up but idk how to see if my modules are populated yet. I will keep waiting :LOL:

So seeing that a couple of us have an activate button but receive an error when pressing it are they parking them in a chip hold location and pulling the battery leads? It seems like we're the first one to have this issue from searching. If anyone has something speculation wise we can make this fun at guessing.

Is that a different message than you previously received when you pressed “activate?” If no, my guess is they just can’t be activated when not in proximity with your phone. If yes, you may be onto something regarding a hold or some other issue.

As status is fluid and can change, not sure how assuring this conversation was.

Partly a well trained hostage negotiator, "not that I can see".

Since I have no reason to doubt, I will assume all is well and can expect a mid June delivery. I will feel more confident with a tracker change or Ford email.

I didn't try to before @Payup mentioned they tried and got an error after receiving the chip hold email. Others have tried it and it waits for a prompt on the trucks screen to accept, like Bluetooth. So this seems different.

Well that would tend to make me concerned that something like what you're speculating might be going on. Hard to know what to infer from everything. I would probably call and see if you can get Ford's take and also request the dealer run a VVR to see if anything comes up.

Since we can all thank Toyota for their great logistics for a "parts only show up when it's exactly needed system" that they show up when your trucks are moving down the line.
