So today was supposed to be "three weeks" and the day quoted by Ford Chat as the day the carrier was to pick up my F150. Here's the interaction:


So be careful with those ETAs that Ford Chat is quoting. Mine went from 6/1-6/7 to 6/3-6/9 and ETA meaning delivery to dealer to ETA for carrier pickup from plant, back to ETA to dealer.

I think as some have found that Ford Chat is at best inconsistent. Might try to call. Got much better info the two times I called in the past.

Sounds like what I got today, hearing them say how long ago the most recent update was gives me some slight hope ours have left the plant by now.

My dealer says that my truck *should* meet the ETA of 6/20, which matches with what both phone and chat said as well. On the plus, both chat and voice there is a possibility of arriving a by the 18th, not gonna hold my breath on that date, but it’s better than being told its delayed or pushed out a week again.

So there’s a delivery receipt for my truck in United.

Ford and Orderapp still show in transit, but I’m sure they’ll catch up.

My salesman is out today so I’ll give him a ring tomorrow. Plan to pick it up on Monday right now.

Just incase anyone is relying on Ford Chat, they have twice told me over the last 5 days that the truck is still on ramp 58 when the NS tracker has had it travel through 4 states. The Ford Chat lady did mention to me just now that the info on her end has not update since the 31st.

Very hopeful that I am entering the info for the NS tracker correctly!

I talked to Ford chat last Thursday I think, they confirmed the rail car # given to me on Tuesday, but said my truck was in Muncie, KS with an ETA of 6/19-6/25. Sunday that railcar was unloaded in Port Wilmington and my truck was indeed in it.

So odds are very good if you have a railcar number, your truck is on it or about to be. Ford doesn’t seem to have much tracking ability once it’s on it.

My truck also seems to be sitting around collecting dust. For those whose have shipped, how were you made aware that shipping had occurred? Was it a notification from the Ford order tracking?

Your new 2022 F-150 XLT SuperCrew has shipped and is on its way!

I then randomly did Ford chat the day it arrived at my local rail yard and then 3-4 hrs later I got notified by my dealer it had arrived at their place.

It only sat at the rail yard for maybe a day. But I think I benefited from the dealership only being 8 miles from the yard.

Picked my truck up yesterday, quick and painless. All rebates/incentives applied from order date of (12-28-21) Ford will send a check to dealer in roughly 6 weeks that I pick up to compensate for the price increase since my order?

I reached out to my saleswoman and she confirmed they are expecting delivery THIS WEEK!!

I did not receive an email from Ford and the Order Tracker still says Awaiting Shipment. She told me that's happened a few times and also confirmed that they do get vehicles in that went convoy via car carrier directly to the plant to Annapolis MD. Seems odd there might not be rail in there but she said Ford is hustling to get things sent out and the communications may not be sync'd up. Keeping my fingers crossed....

mine arrived by train to annapolis md at 12:12pm today. The railcar is sitting in “placed in industry” status. sounds like it is awaiting to be offloaded.

My dealer is Koons Ford Annapolis. It's very possible I was on the same train. The only way they know if its been on a train or direct transport is how dirty it is when it arrives.

Well, mine arrived in Annapolis at 12:12pm today. I guess if you cal CSX with your car number you can get the same info, that that is neither here nor there.

I just hope mine can make it to Koons VA by tomorrow. I have plane tickets that I have to cancel(and get refunded) by end of tomorrow for Saturday 7am if I'm not going to fly.

I'm really wanting mine to be shipped without any indication from the trackers but I doubt it. Kind of wondering if it is not fully built.
